  1. cheers for reply coursing lad. Started this thread to get some thoughts on what you guys/gals think of the merits of this type of lurcher, thats all no lectures on breeding rights Keen on seeing any pictures of folk who keep any collie bull greyhound crossed out there..thanks
  2. Hello all Never bred from my dogs before but do hope to in the future when im more settled. Having worked lurchers with both collie blood and bull blood in them i have always thought how producing a dog with both may end up with a useful animal. My ideal result would be a dog with intelligence, game, good looks, strong stature, stamina and being able to multi task with different working environments, eg, working with ferrets and hunting up the odd game bird. Thinking out loud here I love the look of a strong collie cross aswell as a bull cross hence my interest with these two cro
  3. jesus christ, why dont you just ask people for pictures of any roe deer caaught with dogs since the ban!!!!just get to the point stop pissing around, you will probably get some eejit posting pics anyway james Cheers james for your incredibly insightful contribution :clapping:
  4. Just been looking through a whole bunch of photos recently of past hunting days...dont do much just now due to work committments but am hoping to get back in the saddle in the near future. Used to take alot of deer with what i had at the time which was a 5/8ths grey 3/8ths bull which knocked them over with ease...just tested on roe. Would like to know what you guys/gals would consider the perfect deer dog to have been when times were in our favour to hunt this amazing animal? All the best
  5. good shooting. For me though a buck is far the better choice...especially if she was in cub...not my cup tea leaving a litter of cubs to die

    This Site

Ive been a member of this site for a wee while, but am not new to dogs and hunting. I really enjoy reading some posts and viewing all the pics of dogs hunting etc. I like to keep myself to myself so dont post much. I suppose am a bit of a free loader getting all the fun without inputting much but hey each to their own right? Hope this doesnt offend anyone but have you ever skipped a few pages into a topic without reading the starting post comment?? Well i have a few times since joining the sight and 8 times out of 10 its like kids in a play ground...people missing other peoples points
