I think that was meant to be a joke; a play on words to lighten the thread. But it seems to have passed over your head. sorry for not being a mind reader and for not knowing that people put posts up for no reason oh yeah and booo hisss if you cant take it from an unknown source dont go on the internet I seem to inadvertently have offended you ,either that or you have drink taken ,if it is the former my apologies ,if the latter perhaps you should change your name from On The Hill to On The Piss? Inan.

Best night ? 2 with 3 dogs. What a night! fair enough they did have myxie and there was rabbit fencing round the field ,but the three dogs ran well.!

No it isn't. That doesn't mean it's neccessary or desirable though. And if you must breed (rather than merely want to) then I suggest it makes sense to understand the full genetic implications of what you are doing. Something that magwitch demonsterably fails to do: her recent posts confirm that her knowledge of genetics is zero. At least Magwitch's spelling is up to scratch! demosterably. That's poor typing, not poor spelling. Though I grant you the effect's the same Fair play someone who can take a bit of stick and retain their humour.

I think the problem here is the fact that you lined her instead of using a hob,she is understandably resentful, and probably a little uncomfortable still!

I dont think the training I do will make me affective against a Cross Bow No, I think you would be affected by a crossbow bolt ,I have a lump of something heavy in my 4x4,I tell anyone interested, its a priest for game, well thats, partly true, its for Charlie, but also handy for Wallies too.

inan my old sparring partner, are you saying people who poach are not proper field sports people? I was referring to the drive by cowboys actually Joe. Have you permission Joe? If so how do you feel when you get there and find someone else on it ? Some of my land is 2 hrs drive from me,I really chuckle when I see some numpty walking around playing lighthouses on it ,apart from a wasted night I have the real chance of losing the ground .A friend of mine has some good ground for daytime stuff,he approached the Keeper for lamping, feeling pretty confident we would get it,its crawling with B

Spot on definitely Beardie in there I'd say.

Very difficult due to some like the poster just below you, people might have a different attitude to poaching someone elses permission if it happened to them.We are hanging in there fighting the ban all the way and we have to contend with people inside our sport just to make it harder. It took me years of knocking on doors and many refusals ,before I built up my patch ,then you get dummies just decide to turn up ,sometimes they dont even walk the ground ,just drive around in a 4x4.But then they arent field sports people imo.

Well now that you have named him Miles ,yes it was Tony ,he sent me the videos of 3 Forleys,I was there for the 2000 ,when Shady didnt run up to par ,Tony is out of the game now.Is Paul S the former slipper? I wont say his name here. That would be the way to go I think importing from abroad.I saw one of John Lennons run when out with the Calendar Club once ,he said it wasnt really fit, seemed a nice chap.

Firstly, Toby is not a pure bred , doesn't detract from the dog in any way , but if its pures your after Khan has desert blood in him, from his sire is out of "Farha tepe gawra", son of the legendary "Durak". John Lennons stuff is all Kizzy and Pharo stuff and heavily inbred,so your right to go for a desert type out-cross. When Vance used Farha over his bitch (smooth desert bred to kizzy stuff, which is what your looking to do), the litter was outstanding. One of the bitches was runner up in the Forley.......... and Vances bitch was better. The "Kizzy" stuff is very fast but

I don't think we have had an argument, for the record hares will go to ground or sough in rabbit holes ,foxholes ,badger setts pipes ,just about any available haven ,there are many hares on coursing videos going to ground,Ive seen it happen many times ,pre ban,in fact I have seen two hares go in the same hole immediately behind each other. Peace to you anyway.

Some of the people on here said they ran summer hares to bring on their pups and give them confidence.I said that they could do that in September when hares are still not as wised up or as strong as a good January hare.then the would drasticaly lessen the risk of killing a pregnant or nursing doe.I remember you stating on the video clips page that "HARES DON'T GO DOWN HOLES".IMO ANYONE WHO MAKES SUCH A STATEMENT HAS VERY LIMITED EXPERIENCE OF COURSING.

It was going so well, untill it all went wrong...........

Yes I think your'e right I'll give it a miss now, they will all be in the beer tent at the Summer shows "talking the talk",thats if they aren't out coursing! so now everybody that goes and do pest controll in the summer are all load mouths. have alook at my profile not once have i mentioned what ive killed like everyone on here, because i dont need your approval and need people saying GREAT JOB, WELL DONE, KEEP IT UP. what i hunt is my buissness and im not stupid enough to say i go coursing hares and digging foxses out and poaching and my dog caught 3 out 3 on hares pre ban and hes only 2

Glad your dogs ok mate.actually I find the lighter dogs seem top come off collisions better than the heavier more powerful juks.

Thanks Wilf, once again ,sorry for jumping down your throat ,its a subject that pisses me off I'm afraid. Im 60 in November, too late to change now ,but I suppose Ive had the best of it.Is that Sean Penn in your avatar? It looks like him in character from Carlito's Way ,if it is ,I'd just say what a terrific performance he put up in that film.Stay Well. Inan.

Any thoughts why hares are not for sale in butchers during the summer months? Ever heard of the closed season? ive never seen ahare in abutchers shop You need to get out more. Have you ever seen a game licence? It says hares may not be offered for sale ,and gives the months. Why do you think that is? Look at the end of the day if you are happy running pregnant and nursing doe hares through the summer months no one on here is going to influence you,but any young lad ,just starting out might ,I say might, just stop and think whether its what he wants to be doing. When your dog makes t
