  7. LOng DogRunner I have no problem with you, you explained what happened and I accepted your word. Your mate however seems to have a separate agenda ,throwing out personal insults " grow some balls " , this doesnt impress me ,I expected better from a man who ,he says has been running dogs for 40 years,,what is he ,in his 50s time to grow up there s nothing wrong with my nuts as some people could tell you but thats by the by, any way good hunting IN THE SEASON.
  8. accidents will happen ab ote name='longdogrunner' date='Aug 4 2006, 07:35 PM' post='107368'] Its called a forum mate where you share thoughts and experiences with likeminded folk, there's a facility at the bottom of the message page where you can attach photos onto your messages, you've gotta prove intent mate and seeing as there were no hunt monitors around and the dog weren't slipped on it, it clocked it from over the other side of the field, oh well these are the knocks, you'd prob have had countless accidents like these in your coursing career....... Thats a reasonable reply,if as you
  9. With people like you in the game no wonder weve got the antis against us. My god i think you've cracked it, if i stop going out with my dogs, then the antis will change there whole view on it........ why post a photo do you think its some acheivment?
  10. With people like you in the game no wonder weve got the antis against us. here where I live you hardly ever see a hare because travellers and Muppets are running them throughout the summer, funny the same people arent showing photos of January Hares coursed and caught on the fens, and if your answer is " I dont care what you say",maybe the game is finished.
  11. Not In August He didnt, avoid "big Rabbits until late Sept" That "big rabbit" was a fit, healthy, adult male, given plenty of law; not a leveret or pregnant or milky doe, so why wouldn't it give a good run, in August as oppossed to September ? Cheers. If you gave it as you say "plenty of law" its no accident is it? Why do you think the coursing season started in september ,and late september at that ?Ive been coursing in clubs for 36 years ,we never ran hares before october, and they are at their best in January early feb.You couldn,t have known when you slipped yourt it was a jack hare

  18. im in kent, but had to take a dog to a vets in lincs wwhen h dislocated his leg in a doubled up course on the fens, it was in kirton, beleive the vets name was elwood or elgood he is known as a good bone man.
  19. i agree with your post but iron tablets, areometimes more convenient than liver as you will know cooked liver can bind a dog and raw the opposite
  20. glucosamine is good but expensive chondroitin is good , halibut oil from the health shops is better than cod liver oil.
  21. green @ gooey sounds like conjunctivitis get a cream from the chemist brolene is good also optrex for inflamation one of my dogs suffers from panis inflammation of the blood vessels going to the retina vet prescribed pred forte a human medicine a lot cheaper than the dog equivalent.
  22. not everyone is on a decent income,or even works, maby if there so cheap, you wont mind sending him one to try it,its a good question imo I don't profess to be on a decent income either & those unemployed that are physically able should get up off their lazy arses & find work I don't call £14.50 for a litre of Recharge expensive when you only use 10mls a time anyway. It is a good question recharge is a good product ive been coursing forover 30 yrs and everyone i know uses it
  23. don southerd's lady was a legend, an absolute hare coursing machine, i've seen her obliterate other dog's when doubled up, and i've seen her kill plenty of good strong winter hare's, got to have been the fastest, most determined bitch i've ever seen. do you know don? don southerds lady wasnt the fastest dog ive seen in fact ive seen it led up sevral times indoubled up meetings but she was certainly determined the best doubled up dog ive seen , jacko from the calendar club had a dog of similar calibre called midnight.
