Hi Skot, I think that you are best to try another brand of pellet in the rifles barrel buddy. 2 inch groups at 35 yards is terrible pal. That means that your max range with the rifle is probably going to be around 17.5 yards to 20 yards ish. Try H & N FTT pellets buddy. I'm sure they will be better mate, if not then try RWS Super Fields in .177 Si.

Hi Craig that is what Tony told me aswell. He said a older Birmingham Webley Vulcan (I know not a Stingray but all the same) tunes up as good as if not better than a HW. Si.

Both rifles are very nice to own and shoot Rob. Ive had around 3 or 4 95's and around 3 97's if I remember correctly (maybe more who knows) I don't think that you can distinguish accuracy wise between them both. If I was only allowed to pick one of the 2 then I think I would choice the HW95K over the HW97KT. Once stage 1 tuned from SFS the rifle is just a all round awesome tool, accurate, smooth, light and a joy to use. Dont get me wrong the HW97KT is also brilliant, mine is currently my favourite rifle that I own and keeps up with my HW100 S accuracy wise if I do my part

Who Mike? I want a carbine to mount my new N750 digi sight on top when I get it after Christmas buddy. Si.
-
Sorry lads the rifle is almost in mint condition & perfect working order. Its accounted for many head of vermin and never let me down. I'm not selling it with the spare cylinder, Twink and bipod for a give away price. I'm not desperate for the money, it would of just help towards Christmas. Hi Mawders I want a HW100 KT instead of the HW100 S. I like the carbines better. Si.
-
Replied to you PM buddy. Si.

I'm in Nottingham mate. What you offering for the rifle and bipod mate? Also what you offering for the scope Craig? Si.

Bring beers as well pal. -
This is my Weihrauch HW100 S. Its almost perfect less the odd tiny nik here and there. Its .177 calibre. In perfect working order. I'm only selling it as Christmas is coming up and the extra cash would be good.. It comes with the following: 1. An A & M Custom Gunsmith light weight cylinder (£130 from new). 2. Normal Weihrauch cylinder. 3. 2 x 14 shot mags. 4. An A & M Custom Gunsmith Twink Mark 2 silencer (£50 from new). 5. Deben tilting bipod (£60 from new). 6. Hawke Sidewinder 30, 4 - 12 x 50 IR with side parallax rifle scope with mildot re

Yeah Malc did say he ended up breaking the connects ocular lens, well the rubber around it to get it to work good, but for £30 you could buy a pulsar dsa which will solve the problem. Me personally I would get a Hawke sidewinder tac 30 4.5-14x44 with half mildot with side parralex. The side parralex scopes work best with the Nite Site. The 316 yards was witnessed by 3 people too. We saw a fox eye at that range too before it came closer to around 150 yards which was identified by the whole body. Si.

Happy birthday Olly Hardy. I suspect your going to be in another fine mess later. Si.

Malc Barnard as used it and says its very good.

I haven't chatted to Davy and Chaz yet, but it will probably be from around 5 yards to a max of 25 to 30 yards mate. Maybe 1 can at each range so 6 cans total, 1 shot at each can, winner is the person to hit most cans. Si -
How long does that battery last then Daz now?

Its all about good safe fun without the ballistic lawyers and police that you get at some other meets. People can relax and enjoy their selves without the need to feel they need to be someone that they are not. So Mawders and Mike you two can still be door handle heads . Si. -
June 2013 THL Airgun Section Shooting Meet
zini replied to zini's topic in General Airgun Discussion
A weekend of shooting air rifles with like minded people, air rifle shooting comps, beer and good food. bonfires and bar be ques, a catapult shooting comp (so all bring your cattys) and all in all a great laugh. The accommodation is indoors so you will need to bring a camping bed and sleeping bag. If you want privacy then a tent to go up inside the heated hall too. It will be about £15 to enter per person for the whole weekend I should imagine and a extra £12 for the pig roast and breakfast. Comps will be at a fee of £1 to £2 this time due to it being just after Xmas when money
