Hi Torchey, Dont know mate as we have only been using the units about 8 weeks - ish. I should imagine so though as they have enough sales and happy customers so I'm informed at the minute and from what Ive just learned a big contract abroad coming very soon. With what I have personally witnessed and used the units for they both have been very impressive. I don't ask more than the unit was designed for even though I know they see a bit further than Nite Site state. I just mainly stick to airgun ranges only. I think the problem is set up i.e the scope brand and type being used an

GunTuff from JS Ramsbottom. A nice unit. Si.

After speaking to Tony Wall the other week with Davy, the new BSA Ultra SE has a improved shot count too. He estimates around 40 now in .177 and 50 in .22. As I understand it also incorporates the self regulating valves of the Scorpion SE. I shouldered one and it felt very nice. Si.

Air rifles poo without a range finder
zini replied to GEOFF.223's topic in General Airgun Discussion
Your 100% correct there Simon buddy. The scope parallax method / technique is how the FT shooters still range find today. Si. -
Hi there, In this episode of VerminHuntersTV I do a layman terms tutorial showing you and giving you a few simple pointers and tips that will help you improve the range and picture quality of your Nite Site units. These are the simple things I do to get the results I do when using the two units. Remember the results also are depicted by the scope you use. Some scopes are far better at working with the Nite Site units than others. The Hawke Sidewinder 30, 3 – 12 x 50 AO, Hawke Panorama EV 4 – 12 x 50 AO IR and MTC Mamba do work very well with the units. Other scopes will work we

Air rifles poo without a range finder
zini replied to GEOFF.223's topic in General Airgun Discussion
I agree with all the lads comments on here and yes knowing your combo, aim points and being able to shoot is a must. A laser range finder will put more game in your bag though. Knowing an exact range to a target especially in .22 is a big advantage to guessing. I know when my laser says a target is 50 metres and the conditions are good that target is 90% of the time getting stuck accurately. Guessing 55 or 45 metres when its actually 50 metre in .22 calibre would mean a 90% miss or wounding in the worst case. Si. -
That's just how I feel buddy. The HW97KT rocks after a tune by Tony. More people should try this rifle tuned. Si.

For ratting around the farm I would go BSA Ultra in .22 (multishot). Its small and light so can get into small confined spaces easily without banging off things and its as accurate as any other hunting pcp within a £1400 price range if matched with the right pellet . 40 shots in .22 is enough for a good ratting session and if its not its just a 2 minute job with the pump to top it up again. Si.

Glad that the comparison test was of some interest to you Roger buddy. Like I said it shocked me the results from the NS50. For air rifle hunting its pretty awesome, scope depending. I think the NS200 would be able to see maybe 300 yards (eye shine on a rabbit) going by the results of the NS50. Its also true what i said about the picture on the LCD screen too. It was far better than both the Sony camaras picked up and filmed. Si.

Hi there night shooters, In this episode of VerminHuntersTV I carry out a requested side by side comparison test of the Nite Site NS50 and NS200 camera units. I think that you will agree the results are very pleasing and far better than you would have imagined. The little NS50 holds its own very well when coupled with my Hawke Sidewinder 30, 3 – 12 x 50 AO IR scope, and even at 91 yards is a very nice and usable picture for air rifles and rim fires a like. Just imagine how far the NS200 could see if really tested? I'm pretty sure way over 200 yards. Enjoy Si.

Yes the stage 2 tune involves fixing something that normally moves inside the rifle to the back of the rifle so it cant move. Dont know the technical description, I just shoot the rifle mate. This reduces recoil drastically and aids in gaining easier and better accuracy. There are also other bits and bobs that Tony does which makes the rifle shoot out of this world. Si.

Yes I agree mate. The picture quality is awesome on the NS200. Ive seen units lately that match it but none that better it. The unit that matches it doesnt come with its own ir though so for what you get in the kit of the NS200 I would say its better for our use. That and the fact you get a 1st class after service from Nite Site. Si.

Ive got the same gun with a stage 2 tune and I agree its awesome. Now the first gun I reach for most of the time. Si.

little blue lithium batteries for ns200
zini replied to remyd's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
It comes with a UK plug to charge it if you ask when you buy it on EBay. -
Yes I cant blame you either pal if your getting something that is better than the NS200 for the price of the NS50. You would be mad not to. If the picture quality is better than the NS200 on the other unit, it will be an awesome picture as the NS200 picture through the screen amazes me every time I look at it. Please see it for yourself first before buying as photos can be enhanced easily on phones and computers buddy to make them look better. I'm not saying this is the case just something for peace of mind for yourself mate. For the test to be a fair test the side by side comparis

Thanks Tony, Yes Davy makes a great bacon sandwich . Thanks Steve . Hi Moxy, Maybe and maybe not buddy. The farm manager requested it so we just carried out the service . Si. -
Hi there, In this episode of VerminHuntersTV I and Davy are back at our rat shooting permission trying to mop up a few rats that have been spotted in certain hot spots on the farm by the staff, assisting and adding to the new baiting and poisoning campaign. Please enjoy. Si & Davy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sk_7XgseoVA&feature=youtu.be

The NS200 is a very capable unit. The picture quality I would say is far better than the others units around the same price.
