  1. Is it true the union came about due to the scots bankrupting themselves on a failed attempt at starting there own empire? Sound like a matter of necessity rather than choice. Your referring to the Darien Scheme where the actions of the english nearly bankrupted the scottish nobility who had invested in the scheme. It was the same scottish nobles who! if they agreed to the union! had their personal debts wiped out! Robert Burns reffered to these individuals as a parcel of rogues! who sold a nation for a parcel of English gold. The Scottish people at the time had no say in joining the un
  2. Why are some English people more vehement and against Scottish Independence, is it because its gonna be a matter for the Scots electorate only? and why are you desperate to hold onto us if you think were' sponginging of England and the UK government's so called rescources also there was more than one bank bailed out not just the RBS! Is it so wrong for the Scots electorate to decide there own future, remember! it was not the majorityof Scots who decideded there should be a union of the parliements in the first place just over 300 years ago! Some Scots want to right an historical wrong!! To
  3. If independence is won comments like this are irrelevant! we have asked for our own and more tax raising powers and more income from scottish produce that the UK government reaps the financial benefit from! Tom Obviously the pro independance people have done the numbers?.....do they stack up?......how much extra in tax would all the working Scots men and women be paying to keep things as they are or would there have to be a drastic cut in all the "perks" you get at the moment? You may not know this information Thomas, but it would indeed be interesting to see if it all works ou

  5. your a shit stirrer wilf lol cant see it happening in my lifetime.certainly not when the world is in such an unstable state.we came through two world wars as a nation.yea we have had our dissagrements and our battles ,but at the end of the day a lot of good things have came out of the union.always said independence is a dangerous game to play.more so if you get it wrong. In August 2009, a YouGov survey with the Daily Mail asking if Scottish voters would support independence found that 28% would vote Yes, 57% would vote No, 11% did not know and 5% would not vote.[93] Another YouGov O
  6. The majority at one time did not want devolution, a nationalist government, things change! Salmond cannot, not!! hold a referendum in this session and who know's what might happen if the SNP perform well this time and appriciation from the scottish electorate goes well for them! Tom PS: Glad Ross Finnie lost his seat he was responsible for anti tail docking legislation here!
  7. It appears that the SNP will hold the majority of seats in the new parliement? with this in mind there will undoubtably be a referendum put to the Scottish electorate on the matter of Independance!!! In the year 2014 there is a lot of sporting and cultural events happening that year, one of the most significant is the 700th anniversary of the "BATTLE OF BANNOCKBURN" I think Alex Salmond (Wee Eck) will use this anniversary as the focus of the indepedence issue. The anniversary of Bannockburn and the referendum I believe will coincide in 2014? Tom myself and "Wee Eck"
  8. It's not a case of being bothered, I'm certainly not, neither am i intimidated by this piss! it's a case of a forum member whom in my opinion is a liar, charlatan, and puppy pedlar with minimal posts on here can! and has or maybe invited some-one on here who's involved in the legal profession with no background in hunting with dog's, can and does monitor the forum and everyone on it! as well as their posts not just profiles if his mate takes umbrage who else will the Cnt be spying on?! it's just not right!, but that's life!! Tom Ps: if he is stalking me and has a crush? maybe I shou
  9. Just looked again at my profile and a former friend who in my opinion is a puppy peddler, liar and chancer who also completely duped me into believing his commitment and experience for the working dog, looks if he has his friend who's alledged to be a solicitor for a regional council (Bouboulina) whom I've met in a social setting is monitering my profile and posts? The former friend who's also on this forum has had threads he posted in removed! because he received some fair and honest criticism from me and others and was caught out spouting sh!t and nonsense!. How can I stop Bouboulina
  10. oh i wouldnt chance it,they have the unwashed antis lobbying the procurator fiscal and wanting an example made of you. Well I would chance it! I do not know of anyone who's been charged under the UK Hunting Act in Scotland in relation to coursing its always done under our own statute!! its my right as a Scot to be tried in Scottish Courts under Scottish legislation for alledged crimes commited here that are devolved matters!! why do you think we have allways had our own legal system and and our own hunting legislation its a devolved issue! (Protection of Wild MammalsScotland Act 2002)
  11. Please note any offence if commited would be under Scottish law and legal process not the UK's "Hunting Act" in my opinion no court or jury in Scotland would convict anyone of such a trivial offence especially if the end result is providing a family with food? there would be uproar and a public outcry from a large section of the Scottish public about cost and triviality?? most likely sentence if taken through a Scottish court would be an admonished or not proven?? I also could'nt see any political party here promoting/supporting a conviction while a general election is taking place here!!
  12. As a 'Neilston dweller' I would say it's a dead cert theres some p***y in ye. FTB Was'nt born in Neilston never had any family stayed or live there and I've never even stayed overnight in the village:laugh:
  13. Fair play to the two lads! it's feck all to do with ethnic origin? they stuck two fingers up to an unjust law and fed a squad of kids and the rest of their immediate families with their bag, and managed to get away with it The Scottish Countryside Alliance gave up they're appeal in Scotland in support of hunting with dogs because their appeal was badly drafted/worded and what was then the new, current legislation allows a full pack of hounds to be used in the pursuit of the fox as long as its your intention to shoot the quarry! they sacrificed hare coursing as a compromise knowing the ign

  15. Now gonna put in an order for a similar sporran with a badger and terrier, now I've seen the detail that Chris includes in the making of these, I have a specific image in mind! It'll definately noise up any antis Tom
  16. The Sporran was a day late but arrived safely lunchtime today!! Tom
  17. Three or four minatures of malt whisky and a hip flask full of poteen, the usual neccessities of life! lol Tom
  18. This is a new sporran my Wee Mrs comissioned at Xmas for me as my present a unique one-off! the lass who made it sent it yesterday and hopefully it'll arrive before the end of today? she sent me this photo by E-mail, what do you think? Tom
  19. I'm in the process of having a badger mask sporran made by a registered taxidermist she will supply me with relevant paper-work stating that the badger carcase was legally obtained ie: roadkill! the fact that of your circumstances it appears you had legal permission to remove this dead badger? which died as the result of an accident, its therefore in my opinion legal for you to have it in your possesion!. If you can't prove the circumstances of how it came into your possesion, you could be up shit creek without a paddle? Tom
  20. have a few of those up my way, are they rare? They're not as common as most people think! a lot of folks refer to this colouration of badger as being albino which it definately is'nt!! Tom
  21. A good and genorous lad to the members of Neilston Working Dog Association!! thanks for supporting the club Tomo!!

  22. Do you mean one of these? this one has been made into a sporran!! Tom The sporran above is an erythristic badger, sometimes commonaly called a cinnamon! true albino's are white with pink eyes and very much rarer!
