New Sticks just finished including a Patterdale!
Foxgun Tom replied to Foxgun Tom's topic in General Talk
As yet I've only ever sold one and that was to a lad that wanted a staffy head the beggar seen I had a bulldog and wanted that instead! I've never thought of selling them comercially and my wee Mrs is going nut's cos' she say's she can't move for sticks in different stages of progress I'd need to think about what would be a fair price! I also don't want to be tied down to orders and the pressure that, that brings! as you start to lose friends if you can't come up with the goods on time? I have'nt been in the best of health this year and making these, takes my mind off the situation! Anybody -
Just finished these! and its my first attempt at the Patterdale with this mould? Tom Jack Russell Another Jack Russell Patterdale Terrier

Hope this helps? I don't think you can define whats the best it's all a matter of personal taste? Tom "Scotch whisky is divided into five distinct categories: Single Malt Scotch Whisky, Single Grain Scotch Whisky, Blended Malt Scotch Whisky (formerly called "vatted malt" or "pure malt"), Blended Grain Scotch Whisky, and Blended Scotch Whisky. All Scotch whisky must be aged in oak barrels for at least three years. Any age statement written on a bottle of Scotch whisky, in the form of a number, must reflect the age of the youngest whisky used to produce that product. A whisky wit

Couple of cool old adverts for Black and White whisky, before political correctness became the norm!! Tom

I've got a friend who got me some good discounts on Chivas Reagal eg: Royal Salute a 21 year old blend and Chivas Regal 18 year old they're not bad for blends and even their liqueur Lochan ora is quite good as well! Tom

The big man is as much of twat as the kid! he's probably gonna find himself with a conviction for assault? as for the ticket inspector why did'nt he diffuse the situation, walk away and contact the cops to be on hand at the next station! that way there would have been no arguement and no need for anyone too throw their weight about! There will be more video evidence available ie: the cctv from inside the train carriage itself and cctv at the station I bet the ticket inspector also gets a pull for instigating the perceived assault by telling the big man to put him off the train

Edinburgh Zoo and the Zoological Society of Scotland is funding this (not the Taxpayer?) and will pay more than 600,000 pounds ($935,000) a year to China for the loan of Sweetie and Sunshine, not including the expense of importing bamboo from the Netherlands. they reckon they'll be in profit after the loan and their should be a boost to the Scottish tourist industry!! Scotland has also shown a massive increase in exports to China! where do you think that money has went?. certainly not all!! into the Scottish economy, the whole of the UK benefits from those exports!!!

Arron!! I fart about making stick's in different wood's, ram'shorn etc: but this type is very simple, its a rubber mould made from an ornament and then cast in resin!, then attached to the shaft, hazel, ash etc: biggest job finding suitable shafts and then having patience in the painting up! -
Did the finishing touch's this afternooon (painting) A friend asked me to do this for him, don't think it turned out too bad?
-
don't think they'ed be covered by current game legislation there's no wild american turkey's in britain they're all domisticated birds that can't really fly and the all belong to Bernard Mathew's
-
For me it has to be BAMBI! when Bamb's Mum got shot she was'nt gralloched straight away or cooked long enough! that caused a lump in my throat! Everyone knows venison should be cooked medium or rare, unless its a casserole of course

Antler is limited to what you can do because of the nature of the material best thing to work with is mature ram's horn with double twist, difficult to come by most times
-
I made a Polecat Ferret stick for my 3 year old grandson and one for the small daughter of a member on here ( will post photo) and yes can do a patterdale depending on the cost of mould for Patterdale will pm price!
-
I was'nt keeping too well at the start of the year and this helped pass the time while re-cuperating! drove the Mrs nuts! leaving shafts, tool's and acrylic paints all over the house
-
A couple of sticks I've made up over the last few months! these are easy to make, just resin heads with a paint job scourcing the shafts is a wee bit harder! The Badger and the Fox next to it are Ram's-horn Tom Border Terrier head in detail:

As soon as I get details from family I'll pm you! Tom
