Contacted the old folks home today (Dribble House) and was wanting to wish LB a happy birthday. Members of the nursing staff were sent to look for her, to pass on the message but she was nowhere to be found! they looked for her, in the Incontinent Suite and eventually found her in the Alzhiemers Lounge :11: sitting in her favourite chair drooling as usual, over the younger Male members of the nursing staff? A staff member noticed Lb was wearing her Racoon skin hat the wrong way round and the hats tail was at the front?? "When asked why this was?"" she replied "it reminded her of Foxgun Tom

While visiting the 10th Annual National Countrysports Fair at Moira Northern Ireland I asked myself this question  : How come the Countryside Alliance (Ireland) heavily support and promote coursing!! there, and yet the CA did'nt do much for the cause here????? :aggressive: The CA picks and choses its strategy, and suits it to what they perceive to be important in that location. Many, many years ago, I used to take rabbits with a crossbow  and I used special bolts for that!!!!!!!! the thing, that took a bit of getting used too, was the forward movement of the drawstring, as it was the complete opposite from the recoil of a gun Tom

Its illegal to use a bow or crossbow for hunting in the UK, more's the pity but its huge in the states, I've got a few American magazines with bow-hunting articles in them and it sounds terrific, especially the descriptions of taking big game, the rock singer Ted Nugent is a big-bow hunting fan. Maybe one of the american members of the forum can come up with some bow-hunting tales?????? Tom
