Two lads have died in tragic circumstances, the also came from a close knit community of which Gash is a member!!! English pointers or just Pointers were never meant to retrieve only to find game, but many of them do, retrieve and do it extremly well GSP's, Weimiraners, Vizla's, Spinone's, Braco Italiano and Brittany Spaniels are all HPR breeds!! that is they Hunt Point and Retrieve and any of the continental breeds are excellent gundogs it all depends what you want the dog for??? Lab's are good peg dogs and retrievers, Springer Spaniels good for flushing and retrieving It all depends on the owner and the training!! as well as getting a good dog from working stock Tom

There's nothing stopping any of us writing to the press complaints commision re: this biased article, it would also be more effective a complaint!! coming from them rather than from individuals to the Editor. If anyone is in the CA get them to take up the matter as well they've got a big enough press dept: and its their job to deal with shit like this Tom

I'd be writing to the press compaints commision, to ask for a right of reply!!, ask them also to look at the biased slant on snaring after all it is a legal method of fox control, and also how they got your picture if its someone else's copyright?? You should also ask the newspapers concerned to make it clear the individual photographed in the article was acting within the law always turn a negative into a positive Tom

Deako and his partner Mark Taylor along with the gorgeous Lara and young Barry had their stand at the Scottish Game Fair, Scone Palace despite some bad weather I think they made a few bob and had a good time John and the team invited me and Cheryl the office adminisraitor from Sac's (btw She's another stunner) to have something to eat with them on the Friday night.
