I met this guy at least two or three times and he alway's struck me as odd? I just thought he he was an eccentric there was no indication of how evil or twisted he is/was, I now know after a phone call today from a friend how weird this pervered b*****d was...... He should be castrated and feckin strung up! His user name on here was PuBS! He was the main man of the Pubs organisation (pickerupers and beaters) He had a few posts and threads on here to which I and others responded! Tom

So sorry to hear of Jock's passing, my thoughts and condolence's too Isobel and the rest of the family. Jock was a man of true integrity and character enjoyed by many! My very first terrier was of Jock's lines and many years later while still a teenager he handed me a first at "The Lanarkshire & Renfrewshire Hunt" terrier show for a pup I bred! I remember with pride my heart pounding out my chest at the accolade Jock gave me! I thank him for his advice, support and most of all friendship!! Rest in peace " A Neilston Legend and one of Scotland's finest Terriermen"!!!

to suggest I'm joining anyone against us is feckin' laughable I've been supportive and promoted the use of the working terrier/lurcher and their owners all my life!! and I'm a member of a working dog association!! This post was about the terriers not the practice's demonstrated in the clip, I have my own views on that!! The clip is readily available to all on a respected site. The clip is also without doubt a historical record of day's gone by!! Its not that long ago since similar events were used as tourist attractions eg: Bullfighting! Tom

Found this old clip on the British Pathe website!! it's an interesting clip of day's gone by 29/03/1923 Blue Terrier Trials at Crumlin, Ireland. I'd like some views on the dog's please! rather than a debate on the practice's shown, but! they are of some historical interest Tom http://backup.britishpathe.com/record.php?id=19874

Cameron getting "Blown oot!" by Wee Eck

I shall not make the error of quiestioning some of your statements as I suspect that most are of a factual nature; However what you have outlined is the basis of independence. It does not take into account the massive amount of legal hurdles that would need to be completed. There is also an argument that England should have one aswell to determine whether it is acceptable...but lets not go there eh?. I think that the biggest question that needs to be resolved is who qualifies to vote in any referendum. Lets face it most Scotts live outside of Scotland and have done for decades. Look at Corby

The battle of Bannockburn against Edward 2nd and the English army! was on 24 June 1314, the referendum is pencilled in for the Autumn of 2014 as far as I know July is still a summer month therefore the date for a vote can't coincide with the battle!! This referendum is'nt about anyone being anti- English it's about giving the Scottish people the right to hold a vote on their own independance and by their own government! The United Kingdom initially came about on the succession of Jame's the 6th of Scotland/ James the 1st of England to the English throne, (March 1603) what this referendum i

How on earth! does Independance somehow make you more Scottish? If the majority of Scot's want Independance in 2014 why not give us it? why hold onto us? Canada, India, Australia and the rest of the commonwealth countries have all got there Independance!! why deny it to Scots and Scotland? Why are we needed so much!!! is the rest of the UK dependant on us? Is the rest of the UK scared of going it alone?? WHAT WILL YOU DO WHEN THE VOTE IS NO TOM I will probably weep!! but like the Wee Spider in the famous story about Robert the Bruce we'll try, try, try again!! i sincerely believe Sc

I certainly don't think the major issues are now about rescources or revinue, the goalposts have moved?? Cameron himself has become a recruiting sergant for Independance by telling the Scottish goverment and people what they can and can't do! with regards to a referendum on Scottish independance The tories have no political mandate in Scotland and never will neither do the Lib/Dems I know its been said as a joke but it's true (they're are more Panda's in Scotland than Tory Msp's) The "right" to hold a referendum may reside with Westminster under Westminsters own rules but the right to self det

New Sticks just finished including a Patterdale!
Foxgun Tom replied to Foxgun Tom's topic in General Talk
As yet I've only ever sold one and that was to a lad that wanted a staffy head the beggar seen I had a bulldog and wanted that instead! I've never thought of selling them comercially and my wee Mrs is going nut's cos' she say's she can't move for sticks in different stages of progress I'd need to think about what would be a fair price! I also don't want to be tied down to orders and the pressure that, that brings! as you start to lose friends if you can't come up with the goods on time? I have'nt been in the best of health this year and making these, takes my mind off the situation! Anybody -

They make a great training aid Arron but the heads look a bit small when attached to a two by two for training the larger breeds! (only kidding)
