I have huge respect for them, just like any other animal. They are fantastic creatures just doing what they have evolved to do, and they do it well but they do need to be controled and it should be performed with respect and dignity.

I think sometimes it depends on if the kid wants to learn aswell. Non of my family have ever really been into wildlife/hunting apart from my dad who used to have an impressive egg collection when he was a kid and knows a little bit about animals, but I have always been fascinated by them and loved them, I was always reading books or watching nature shows on the telly when I was a kid and still do. I was always the odd kid for loving animals haha, always on the lookout for injured birds and stuff to take home, even if it was a pigeon. If it was taught in schools it would encourage a positive at

Just went and checked the one that was crawling on the floor, its quite active, just can't fly. It tried to sting me but I didn't notice a sting sticking our of its arse. But maybe it could be a male/female, which ever one doesn't have the sting?

Nope, even when the weather was good they were doing it, its a couple of bees a day doing it, just looked out now and theres one crawling on the floor, and its a hot day today. Cheers, will do.

Bumble Bees have decided that the bird box would be a great place to set up home, and its great watching them buzz in and out all day, they havnt caused us any bother at all being there so we aren't really worried about them. I have a question though, that I'm hoping someone can answer, quite often one will just crawl out of the hole and fall to the floor, I keep finding them either dead or very weak and on their way out, is this normal or is it something to worry about, virus', parasites etc... Cheers.

the wirral mate its a beaut 5 yr old male rides round on my wifes shoulder, people i got it from had it for sale for a while started off at £800 i think. I'd love a Macaw one day, Weve got a green cheek conure at the minute, tiny compared to a macaw, and not as loud haha.

Not my type of hunting either, But these big game reserves were people pay £££ to shoot Lions, Rhinos etc.. have actualy played a big part in boosting the wild population numbers of many animals in Africa, and that I can't argue with.

I remember watching a show about the biggest resteraunt in China, They had competitions for all the chefs every year and the one who cooked the best fish but still the closest to being alive won. They done it with snake aswell and cut it up, when it arrived on the plate all the little pieces of snake were still riggling about on the plate, sick fuckers :sick:
