Of course not, and while you're at it you could get them to retrieve too. I bet they can work cover like a spaniel!

Too far south of the border for you Lab............ You'd get a nose bleed. Though not quite of the severity that any thieving ba**ard would if I caught e trying to nick any of my gear!!! I'd leave you the memory card of the last snap.............. Now I understand how you manage to kill Rabbits in the way you described................................... You've got hands like a little girl! And have you not learned anything from the last time you tried to steal one of my trail cameras? This pic of you staring into the lens may remind you. The wounds to your fac

Perfect non-traditional hunting companion animal
kenny14 replied to Ratreeper's topic in General Talk
I've already taken measures to combat that irritating little pest, no more DEET or other insecticides for me. I've not even had so much as a single Midge bite since Pip has been accompanying me on my hunting forays. He doesn't take up much kennel space either . -
Perfect non-traditional hunting companion animal
kenny14 replied to Ratreeper's topic in General Talk
All these stories of training various animals to do everything possible has really got my imagination going and it's certainly been an eye opener to learn of some of the deviant bestial practices enjoyed by some members ................. Anyway, I've just returned from dropping the Dogs off outside the rescue centre where I'm sure they'll eventually find them all new homes with owners who don't mind having such unbiddable animals , and I'm off to start training my ultimate guard, companion and hunter. I guarantee that you'll all soon be rushing to get rid of your Lions, Baboons, and Shark -

You sure you've not started early? And if you did try to train a pack of Stoats, some f***er would only kill them, stuff them (very badly!) and post pics of them on here asking how much they were worth! -
Yes, but didn't you realise that the Spider had just eaten a Fly? Poor little thing...b*****d Spiders

I did think about it but didn't want to steal his thunder!

Without wanting to re open any old debates, 'unnaturally high numbers' is very much a matter of opinion!
-
Perhaps someone could've just found the remains and hung them up there out of the reach of their Dog........ Or on the other hand have you not seen the film 'PREDATOR'?................ Well it'd be a change from big Cats being blamed!

I only saw two in this brood, though there could've been more hiding nearby, and the Hen was starting to get a bit agitated so I quickly got a couple of photos then left them alone.

Rabbits don't need killing, if all you nasty people who shoot, Ferret, or chase them around the countryside with Dogs would just leave them alone they'd regulate their own numbers and live in perfect harmony with us and all the other fluffy little creatures. Best Regards, Brian May

They're fantastic for that job Lab . Eyes that never sleep, which give you the date and time of any regular vistors! how much was it? might treat myself to one of those. That model was about £600 3 years ago (thankfully, I didn't have to pay for them personally!), but there's lots more competition and choice now so I'd advise to shop around. I've been lucky enough to use several different types, both photo and video, and the video footage from some models is excellent quality. When I'm asked for advice, the two things I recommend to go for are: get the one with the highest qualit

:hmm: You possess: .22 LR .243 .303 Yet you clearly don't posses any knowledge of the law regarding the shooting of live quarry. Also you make it clear that you haven't shot one, but you seem to be trying to get people to admit they would shoot them illegally, or possibly to tell you that they have done so before. So I wonder: A) Are you an anti trying to get shooters to admit acting recklessly and breaking the law? B)Are you just naive? In which case I find it hard to believe you convinced the local FEO that you're safe and competent enough to hold an FAC. C) You're just having

Buzzard control plans on the horizon?
kenny14 replied to Malt's topic in Gamekeeping, Conservation & Shoot Management
Unfortunately I don't think people see it like that. It's basicly as the others have said, and whether it's Foxes, Badgers, Grey Squirrels, Corvids, or Birds of prey, the general public are fed a regular stream of lies and half truths by well spoken presenters, so called 'experts', pop stars etc, and it's easier to believe these than accept the truth. Whenever normal animal behaviour does get shown on tv, it's so often 'glossed over' in some way, or described as a rarity which the resident 'expert' has never heard of before, then they almost invariably quickly skip to a clip of something suc -
And get a photo of it on here if you can. Nowt like seeing a grown man cry!

That's the grim reality I'm afraid. And it's the most ignorant and ill informed people who get to make the decisions
