  1. theres a few local lads that own lurcher x lurcher breeding that live near me.

which i bred and can trace the linage back 35 years,

most of these lads dont want to know lines and how far they go back because once they own the dog its tunnel vision.

its a shame because theres so much to tell about each and every dog that was used in the making of these dogs.

    atb dai.

to me thats how the best lurchers are bred true worker to true worker fairplay to yah dai

  2. ive called them in in the day a few times in ther past mate,i called one years back i was a youth at the time i had a jackrussell pup she was about 8months a the time squeak it up on the park the back of me moms i hid in the long grass it almost run in to the terrier couldnt believe it

  3. I'm curious to know why people prefer to use the bull x when in my opinion a good collie grey is capable of doing the same job I'm not knocking the cross just not my cup of tea I'd like to know a bit about the history of the cross when it was introduced etc this isn't a topic for shit talk I'd like some sensible replies and like I said everyone to there own I'm not knocking the breed.

not been funny mate but theres no collie greyhound in the u,k that can can do every think a good bull breed dose no chance

thats true stag i think people who have say collie crosses can do the same as a bull cross have probably never actually saw one work mate

  4. ive ran collie gryhounds in the past they are a very versatile dog but talking in pre ban tearms some collie crosses are capable at catching and killing foxes single handed but i think the going gets tough i think the percentage of collie crosses that throw the towl in is alot higher than a bull cross throwing the towl in.Where a good bull cross will go in and get the job done collie bred lurchers tend to use there ten pence as too say, i think when they see pearles the old red like flashes in there heads if you know what i mean.

  7. for them that think thats true your fecked in the head or havent done alot foxes are very very durable maybe after they get hit hard they go into shock an freeze an appear dead but id bet my arse on it that they are not and if you got your dog off the fox would run on as if nothing had happend

ive never saw a dog kill a fox on impact ive saw plenty of them stunned and knocked out but never killed :hmm:
