  5. I did see it a thew times after mate the orchard was a good thew miles from me didnt get chance to go up there much then i went a few years after and it had gone the burrow was there but full of cobb webbs and stuff so it was obvious there was no one at home  it was either a goffer or a prery dog mate never really looked into it just interesting to see it

  6. A good few years back in my teenage years i remember mooching this orchard on the edge of a country farm i uised to nick the plumbs and that out of there we,ve all done it lads or still do it it :tongue2: . Any ways i was stroling in between the tree when the biggest earth kick out i had ever saw caught the corner of my eye so i went over to have a mooch stook my head down the hole to have a smell and an investigation any way i had a look for foot prints and the prints i found were new too me then suddenly i heard a strange noise cumming from inside the burrow so i decided to move away from burrow and place myself where i could have a good view without frightening what was in the hole. so i waited and waited then all of a sudden this animal came out it was like a beaver with no tail asuming it was either a prary dog or a goffer not sue like but it was big it sat on the entrance for abit then took off that was my 1st encounter with a none native species  and i nearly shat my self with excitement ha ha ha ha ha

  8. I agree with people on here in the past when i have doubled up dogs on quarry pre ban 2 dogs that have been worked regular together will rely on each other too run the quarry into each other, my mate had a collie bull greyhound who used to work the quarry so the my half cross bitch would catch it she did tackle quarry though on her own but i think that bit of collie made her abit clever and like i say she would use the other dog to her advantage

  9. i remember back in the old subaru lamping days when i was a youth i remember this 1 spot we used to lamp regular had a wire straight through the middle of it wernt there long snip snip ha ha ha ha ha mind you it aint nothin to the old medieval coursing trapps that they used to make with giant spikes on them that would impale the dog straight through the chest not nice

  10. Ive just bought my self another loft aint brand new but itll do ive not long moved house wernt gona get back into them this quick but i went down me dads to help him pair up and the bug kicked back in ive had them since i was a nipper it is abit on the expensive side at the moment but if youve got the right birds ain the right races its all worth while ive won a fair few races in the past aint done much for a couple of seasons but il have a good go at it when me lofts up go back to me old way
