    Ok lads/lasses there is a lot of people on hear that has run different lines + grafter2grafter Bull x dogs bitches My question is what works best your Owen local stuff or stuff with a line name The gear with a line seems to get stick ie Reece/ golly/ Pye ex ex but if these lines are so bad why are they famous ?

    Drop lead on floor and walk off pup should follow then praise him/her slowly picking lead up and encouraging pup to walk on with maybe a fluffy toy or bit of food this has worked for me but so has the above suggestions Hope this helps

    Pye & billy lines both get put down off people who hasn't seen them run it seems like a fashion people say this line is sh**t that line is shite These dogs are bread for a Job and if you have a pup out of this line you have a good chance of a good dog if it is brought up right and entered right but it is inpossible to guarantee any pup from any line at 8 to 10 week old.

    6 pages wrote about Reece & bill line and he has been dead for years jackers don't get talked about but this dog and his line seems to get talked about from top to bottom of country there must be something good still coming from his line and there will be a lot of dog men keeping them selves to them selves with this breed and doing the job

    They will be ok as a ferreting dog for marking thats about it, won't be fast enough for Lamping rabbits if it's a first x, seen some first x kelpie greyhounds struggle to catch rabbits, they'll catch them on the moors tho with a dry stone wall round with no where for them to go

    Give the lad a break he's asking a genuine question Hiya pal make sure your dog is old enough to go out on the lamp different breeds mature at different ages I find whippet terrier or greyhound terrier mature quicker than collie x. /.
