    HW's.. theobens.. dont forget theres better and worse variasions in the same make, get a bad un return with agro. i sold a very accurate daystate X2 a few year back, the edge of a ten pence at 50meter accurate, then it wandered 4-5 clicks..then wandered back a few clicks..then wandered, you get the message, 3 different scopes that were sound on the other gun, the guy sais ahh well if you'd bought the scope from me i would have sorted it yu.. i got shot asap, and wouldnt part with cash on ANY daystate again. thats attitude he can stick up his orafis i'm affraid.

    ''.177 is just not reliable enough for me.'' owch some ones been nobbled on a custom job then... i've crono'd the odd 'special jobby' on ranges and blow me if a few were coming in at 9.5 fp's..eeeek 'the full 12fp' they were told, and ooo they got a load more shots with the reg fitted lol. eeeee owch!

    just had another thought, if your not hitting at 35 how can you hit at the 100? so would there be any point going FAC at all?

    i notice every one neeglected the use of FAC in .177 lol.. dont knock it till you tried it. a lot of people get a karbine barrel crowned and sized for sub limits, up it and offf they go.. first off, the kick is irrelivent, you get used to it. the change in tragectry curve is the same principle of changing a pellet or caliber, it's time in to allow the chenge to get in your head basicaly. any change from what your used to seems odd and unwanted because subcontously you know its a 12 month adjustment to get fluent in it. after the barrel sorted you still need to tune the gun

    this upping the power to avoid injury is a downfall of many a hunter.. a CZ with them red tipped bullets can still wound.. if i was going FAC air i'd get a rapid or similar large cylinder gun and up it to nearer the 40fp in .22 or 17-18fp in 1.77.. or even go sonic.(depend's on the pellet). you still have to hit the spot mind.

    hmm i did do one 11 month stint without missing a prey shot lol...ahhh i was young n fresh lol. end of the day you have to follow up..i dont that squirrel would have seen past a couple minutes had he left it..more like 40 second though. i have to agree about bandying to the anti's, its like dealing with atension seeking disorders, give them one the need another 5 and another 10 and another...and so on. psycotic is psycotic, no matter what you ponse it up with.

    he dealt with it.. main thing i noticed is 30 fp in .22, usualy they tune them to 40 for .22 and 30 for .177... i'd change my pelletts though, i rib um at 40-45 in legal .177 with np's. end of the day the odds of that are better than driving..

    simple, very simple question for an anti an ant and your child in the road, a car is going to splat both, which do you save? the point? sudenly it becomes subjective to personal wants... if they save the ant then well, anything more need saying? pest control isnt subjective to wants..its vital for survival.

    well aparently you get what you pay for .... i've seen quite a few products now that are in the hundreds in england, 5-10'ners same item in the old china, but the odd ones cottoned on and priced them at english prices, the weird thing is people actuly buy the extra priced one beleiving you get what you pay for.

    5-10 minutes a day is enough.. IF its quolity time. no one includes carrying the thing around i see, just to get used to handling it, after all everyone i've ever been shooting with has had the nosions of feckoff carry yu own lol.(seriously..handling it counts).

    head and spine is the same thing really...the brain stem lol. i've heard .22 this .177 not that over and over but i find .177 far better on body shots than .22, but, i sjhoot .177 amd have for donkies years. what i did notise about .22 was ooooo what a drama impact it is lolol.(that and a lot more runners on bod shots with .22,so much so i wont do it in .22). could be me here but for shooting something shouldnt you be looking at one bif kill zone, i.e. not just the head or just the hearts ect as discribed in the glad mags...head, follow its spine down there's organs attached to that h
