I have to say I respect all comments on this subject and can now agree with both sides on certain issues the last Hare I shot was in 2010 discussed in the link below. its certainly not somthing I would go out specialy to do again with Hawk or gun. then again when a animal such as a Hare in the season is Hunted for the pot or any other good genuine reason where the animal is not wasted and put to good use then I certainly have nothing against it ... http://www.thehuntin...65#entry1720840

Bang on mate . mine are pretty much the same. you look at alot of the youth on the streets these days and none have any respect what so ever, when I was a kid even though I had a few run ins I always respected my elders, these days scum are beating up old people for pennies and mugging people for mobile phones and the like.... then again some kids are brought up in a stable anvironment and perhaps meet up with the wrong crowd or somthing in their life which may be a tragedy of some sort triggers it. knew a lad when I was a teen who's brother hanged himself, I was best mates with the lad th

there's a scummy family near here who seems related to everyone, they have couzens in nearly every street and all think they are Rambo when in a tribe. even when you here them talk its all bollox, "My Brother this or my couzen that" and of course they're all bare knuckle fighters , the bullshit that rolls out of their mouths come in nearly every sentence. the funny thing is I was speaking to a lad with Parrots close by, some of these scumsters kids was kicking a ball on the top of his aviaries so he had a go only to get a gobfull back, this bloke blew his top and went round the super daddy

Have heard of that one before Rikardo. there was some info about it on the BFC forum which was a bit worrying, I havn't heard anything about it for a while now so hopefully its burned itself out ...

could be caused by the anklet rubbing at the rear of the foot, seen it before which will get infected and consiquently turns into bumble foot infection. could also be a mechanical injury and damage to bone or tendon from bateing or hurting itself free lofted.... either way without a scan of some sort from a vet or somone looking at it with some knowledge on these things you'll never know .... just to say if it is a Bumblefoot infection it will need to be swabbed and cultured so you know what antibiotics to use which is sensitive to the bacteria involved...

Couldn't agree more Happyhawker . remember having this conversation with some breeders a few years ago the way the Goshawks was going with none of them being in agreement, I would think that theirs views have now changed somewhat looking at the past two seasons and the way the market has been flooded.........

cracking hatch keeps . totaly agree with moll and millet, I had chicks in the past includeing quail manage to drown themselves in the smallest amount of water. I never bred them on the scale as millet so I was a bit of a jobsworth and used pebbles in the water to stop them drowning. also used a pestle and mortar to grind down the crumb slightly ....
