  1. Feck me mate you've ben through the Mill , some 40th hey! just goes to show how quick the shit can hit the fan, one decent night out has turned into a nightmare! feck I'm glad we don't go out much. try and stay calm about it mate! when you look at it you've done feck all wrong and had nothing to do with it, sounds like you could lose the Air Rifle though ...
  2. I live a pretty close to the Broads and there is some lumps in there! I havn't fished seriousley for years but I know alot of lads in the area who do mainly for Zander and Pike, some of the main rivers they hit is the Middle level, Releif Channel and the Wizzy, Welland and Nene. I stuck some pic's up a few years back of one lad down here who is pretty commited to Zander fishing, he's had them out of the middle level upto 19lb and some pretty big Pike near on the 30lb mark from some of the other waters. I would say go for it mate! if you get fed up around the broads these other rivers a
  3. good quality top notch Pic's :clapper:, what camera do you use thurso jack?
  4. cheers for the replies Why they didn't do that millet with the snug I don't know mate, it would make more sense! the way Simomans is with slideing windows make life alot easier, a lad on this Nav site http://www.nissan-navara.net gave me a idea of useing a 1/4" plank with rag wrapped round the tip, I tried it last night and it worked. It was a toss up between this or a Freelander Baldie! the missus wanted the Freelander and as you can see I always listen to her wishes , I'll let you know what I think of it when it goes for a MOT in 3 weeks .

  6. Nice one mate Just gave it a go but the space is pretty limited to poke anything through to give it a good clean! mine pretty much caked in crap, feck knows why Nissan didn't stick on a rear wiper.... Jasper
  7. Can anyone with a Nav or other pick up give me some idea how to clean the back cab Window when a snug top is fitted? there is a small gap between the snug and the cab but no way can I get anything in to clean it , I can hardly see feck all through the back window now! Surley I don't have to remove the snug everytime I want to clean the back window .
  8. I wouldn't mind doing a 3 minute round with her !, Cracking pic's Misty .
  9. Its about time the SkinHead Movement woke up again , Some white power would soon put these scum in order, how the feck they managed to get into a school play ground and batter a young lad with a hammer is beyond me! there's no doubt about it! it was done with Racist intent. this country has been sold down the swany river, I can't see it ever getting out of this mess even when this shite Govenment is kicked out, if its not Imigrants its Laws! Laws! Laws! and more Laws being intoduced, its like living in Russia, the people who fought for these isles in two world wars would be turning in th
  10. Yep you're right Moll! All my birds went down later than usual last year! they started coming into Breeding condition as they normally would but then I remember having a Hail storm the beggining of April which threw them out again, this year I expect much the same with the birds not knowing if they're coming or going.... Cheers Tony
  11. Nice one Ditch cheers , It'll be on ye toast every morning ...
  12. Yep same here! I always loved Ankor butter, I remember going round a old Farmers a good few years back shooting Rabbits with a Air Rifle and by the afternoon the old lady came out and brought me some crackers with thick yellow butter on them! I tell you it was the strongest butter I have tasted and really tastey, I spoke to her afterwards and asked her what Butter it was and she said its Ankor but we leave it to go a bit Rank , Basically just leaving it to mature in the butter dish. Since then I have done the same and left it in a butter dish with the lid on for a while and there is no dou
  13. By all accounts the guy was useing a Nikon D80, If the weather holds out I should have a few more pic's from the Shortwing meet at Elvdon Hall tomorrow, but its not looking good today! the wind and rain is Battering the East coast .
  14. Nice one mate , I'm looking forward to getting her down here to have a good look at her, its always a worry making up new pairs as the females can be pretty aggresive if she's not quite in breeding condition....
  15. Hello Millet Hows it going mate? it was a guy who was with him who took the pic's but he said he is pretty sure its a Nikon D80, the guy did well to get them so clear! all my moving pic's I tried taking with my Nikon cool pix are crap . cheers Tony
  16. Have a good one Baldie , the big 40 hey! its all down hill from now on mate .
  17. Hello Fletch there's no doubt about it they're quality birds to fly but one thing I can say is they certainly hold you to Ransome compared to Harris's. to take quality Pheasants/game over long distances and not the usual Muggings you see on some other lists you'll need to commit alot of time with a P/R Gos getting it fit and confident, all Gos's will seem pretty good even when unfit and you would expect them to follow the arse end of a Pheasant and nail it on the put in, but some of the fit one's flown regular will produce the most extraordinary flights that can sometimes leave you pinchin
  18. The bird belongs to a pal up North! My season finished long ago, I'm sure once it got a foot on that Rabbit it was going nowhere , he sent the pic's down to me so I could have a look at her before he brought her down in the next few weeks....
  19. Just a few pic's of a pals Finn Gos bunny bashing, she'll be coming down here in the nest few weeks to go into a breeding enclosure to go in with a proven male, hopefully she'll make Loooove with my male and not stick him on the menu .... Tony
