    this has popped up a few times over the years. You will never get the right answer mate its each to their own. My x or dog may not suit the man next to me and vice versa. Or i can say is if your happy with the x you have and it pleases you then feck everyone else.     hi mate we used to run a beagle on its own it was great fun. But it would hunt anything from squirel to deer but we caught more game with the help from the beagle than any time. Yes they will catch rabbits. A lad from this site now has the beagle. Good luck if you get one and hope you are fit lol

    to be honest mate there ll be a dog of most every cross doing the job that your wanting . best thing to do is get a pup from a dog and bitch that are taking the quarry your interested in. you could be on here days talking about lines of this that and the other and what cross is better than that cross etc . if both parents are doing the job well and have been for 5 or so seasons and you like the temperaments and size of the parents then try it. excellent advice mate. Make sure the parents are true workers and beware of the peddlers. Good luck in your search.

    good dogs mate very loyal and determined dogs. Will put their heart into all quarry.

    could be a sign of worms but usually its the arse glands mate. My mates dog gets this regular until i gave him some lamb ribs and necks and ever since his dog hasnt had the problem.

    ive got a 15 -16 month old dog now and he is 28.5 inches and catching good numbers now he is on the learning curve to slow down a touch so fingers x. He has excelled on retrieving shot foxes though. My mate of this site also has a young dog around the same age and that is some bitch catching large numbers regular she will take some beating.
