  2. well have you ever had a pm that asked you to remove your clothing stamp on it in muddy puddles & then wash it again in cheap washing powder & then climb a tree well i have it was by far the most bizarre thing i have ever read in my life it was sent by a bloke so belt up What you got it as well Kay! I'm jealous now! Bizzare i know, but it make's me laugh! i will forward the wierdo's onto you then Oh crikey! Should have kept my massachistic side under wraps! (how do you spell massachistic?)
  3. A dropper like used in eardrops is a pippet. Give it a drop of diesel, white spirit, and it will drop off in a short while.

  5. That's my worst dig ever on that land in 16 years. lucky the weather was fine! (no oil though, or Australia!)
  6. We will still use nets in tricky areas, and longnets on big open warrens, but mostly it's 3 -12 holers, and a couple of bunny's at most. It's pretty shallow most of the time, so a quick flash with the spade and it's done. It also gets the dogs a bit keener on marking up if they get a run for there troubles of marking up. Came unstuck on this one though! How not to do it! Idiot with a spade alert!
  7. Oi you two, your getting sexist now, and hurting good mens feelings!
  8. Now you've done it! It's ok putting them on, but let's see them on the shoulder as well! 36 near crippled me having to walk and climb walls.
  9. Lad may be better just bolting a few stubby, he's not collared up yet.
  10. Hows it going feller, how did you do up there on Saturday? We only came off with 35 on that lower ground, didn't get up into the mountains like you guy's! Cheers for the offer mate, may take you up on it. Got a decent stack going at the moment myself, so plenty of grafters to go at. If you get short yourself, give me a shout.
  11. Looks like it fared pretty good out there!
  12. Nice looking dog, is it pure wullie, or has it any cross in it?
  13. nice pair john are they related to roy ? Certainly are Chez. Can you tell? (did you ever see him work?) yeah i can tell, when your dad took me out he had ruby and roy, , it think we bagged about rabbits.well i say we i was just carrying them !!!! Sounds about right! Think the young lads are only there to carry stuff and dig!
  14. Depends on where they are released, and whether they have the making of a wild animal! Picked a hissing and spitting albino hob out of a drop box, even had to pin him down with a forked stick to pick him out. The animal was rock solid, and built like a brick outhouse, through life and food. Never have i picked up a more solid ferret, EVER. Don't release any!
  15. Sorry mate. Feel for you there. Think at this point we all look back to the lost one's. Rip Billy.
  16. Up to you, but the old method might get a result, Take it easy though.
  17. Tidy result Andy! Sounds like you have a couple of gooduns!
  18. Sounds like my sort of critter andy! I like a good jill, don't get me wrong, but a lot of the time the bucks just say no. We got to the point a lot of years ago, to have big killing machine's. Most of the time we don't even net up. Drop them in, and follow them up. Some rabbits bolt, the dogs get them. (unless it's on real tricky ground, then the nets are set.) The others, well, they just get sorted. Most of the holes are not deep, maybee 18- 36", so we don't wast time setting 12 nets for 1 rabbit to bolt, just turn over the sod, and out they come. If i worked an area with deep warrens,
  19. Jill's are great when you get a good un, only seen a handfull of good uns though! Wish i had a few good uns, anyone got any spare? Nobody would ever part with a good jill! Sometime's a bit of muscle is required to shift the bunnies, bring in the hobs! (and the spade!)
  20. nice pair john are they related to roy ? Certainly are Chez. Can you tell? (did you ever see him work?)
  21. From what whin has said, the guy talks a lot of sense. Nice to see piccies of the whippet firstrike, it has caught some good quarry. Liked the piccie of the other dog more though, looks like it had a bit more to it. I would like to think if you took the little black dog for a 60+ day in the dales, it would come away alive.
  22. Yep, great to see people willing to help people out! Good on you!
  23. Well in feller, looks like a tricky spot to net up with all that cover.
  24. Nice one Tomo, good to see a dog for the job there.
  25. Were just rabbit men, that's all they have been bred for to be honest.
