    My Gun

I didn't know that a springer is bad on a hard surface or bipod, my best groupings on targets were from resting on a wooden fence and i am using a springer.
  11. now that could be a good option because i have a squirrel call!
  12. ok but putting a barrel through the dreys isn't an option as i am using an air rifle
  13. lol, if you still have it then chop off half its tail and bring it round her house saying that you shot the one she asked you to get.
  14. Wasn't there a problem just recently with you insulting people who shot foxes, I presume this is you having a go at driven shooting now is it? OTC it is a long time since Chukar have been used so you would be very lucky to see a "half cross" and I doubt it was ever as high as 90%. I read that post and he wasn't insulting them he was saying that he didn't agree with shooting foxes.
  15. Why hit the branches?how would that get the squirrels out of there drey?
  16. Right, now i'm confused, i was told by someone that if you creep up quietly and give the drey a very light poke if a squirrel is in there it will come out and to see what it his but herehttp ://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MF2-p4fLgPU they have to almost destroy the drey and then the squirrel comes sprinting out, and impossible shot for a .22 air rifle.
  17. air rifle, thats why it was such a fluckey shot lol. You want it for shot gunning? Hughesey I am going to use it for air gunning as i have heard that if you creep up to it quietly a only a small poke will send it out and it wont be to scared so an easy shot(not sure if it is true but that's what ive been told).I might use it for shotgunning but for the time being it'll be airgunning.
  18. Thanks,I actually do have some tents poles but i didn't think thy'd be long enough, they might be though. When your mate shot the drey did he use a shotgun or air rifle?
  19. I didn't know where to put this so i thought i would put it here. Does anyone know the cheapest place to get lofting poles for drey poking?I have looked everythwhere but they are all for pigeon decoys a really expensive(about £50:00).Also how long do they need to be?? Thanks
  20. Woody at at 50-55 yards with a BSA tactical XL
  21. well done, you said it was your second ever kill so what was your first 1 then? I think mine was a collard dove and i didn't find until the next day because it landed in a huge clump of bushes and i was searching on the ground when it was actually stuck in the top of a bush above my head lol.
  22. i got my permission because most of my family are farmers
  23. Well done, i am 13 aswell and i own a BSA tactical but i havn't shot a rabbit or a squirrel yet just pigeons . So anyway well done you are lucky because my permission only has woodland rabbits which I havn't quit sussed out how do ambush them but there are alot of pigeons and rooks but they get abit boring after a while.
