    I owned and bred wheaten lurchers for a long time and I've never had a single one open up, no doubt there's been some that have but I've never even heard of a genuine wheaten x opening up.

    I'll be truthful I don't know much about whippets or their crosses but I have one here as a family pet and I've had it lamping a few times along with its sister and they've been mute as is both their parents while working.

    I've never thought of one type being more likely to open up than any other. I've seen more lurchers with greyhound than whippet in them open up be it pitbull collie or bitza lurcher. The very odd dog will open up for no reason, most times it's caused by bad entering.
