    yeh over here (round my area nyway) all the old timers refer to albinos as greyhounds.said the word albino to an old neighbour of mine and he looked at me as if id jst farted or something ha

    lovley,thanks agian.just 1 more thing while if got the subject up.what should i be looking for?i knw its the longnets is what need but will i need stop nets and/or gate nets aswell.im new to the longneting and i am unshure of the exact function of each net.id be hunting evrything from heavy ditches to warrens in open fields,so if anyone could share some knowlage it would be brilliant.thanks .

    thanks lads .does bridport nets have a pricelist or catalog nywhere?and does that john hubery fella have a website or nything?..tnk im guna go for the trad nets too as there cheaper and iv a bit of expirence wit trad longnets for hairs.

    5 at the moment,had 13 at one stage but sold em off..iv 2 albinos,2 poleys(one of which is massave,outgrowd her father and all) and one sorta silverish x poley that my [bANNED TEXT] found in a bin ha,all workers and all sisters and the mother except the 1 from the bin of course ha hunterlass15,can i ask why you called your albino jill beano?.iv been known as beano since i was bout 6 ha

    i have an MK1 too and for the first 3 trips it was driving me crazy becuase it kep teiling me my ferret was bout a foot away,even when i could see her about 10 foot dwn the band from me.turns out it was picking up signal from my mobile phone,so try leave ur phone as far away as u can when using it.see if it makes a diffrence.

    no luck yet.ill probly jst keep her myself now.dont mind only shes dumping savage in the bedding,makin it stink and pretty dangerous as theyd eat food near or beside it.i was hhpin shed learn from the others and go to the bit of mesh floor at the end of the hutch bu nothin yet..shes lookin brilliant nw tho,happy to hav sumthin not from the same blood line.mite try her hunting soon

    wow,got what i asked for there ha,that brilliant lads thanks a million..i think what i mite do is give it another year and realy get to know wat dog wud suit my style of hunting best.my permision is very vast with cery scatterd burrows and varied types of land so no matter what dog i get (if i do infact get one) he or she will be used well somewhere..anyone i know in my area with rabbiting dogs have lurchers.i would have good facilities for 1 too as my uncle has a grate setup for greyhound and could help me train it too..dats [bANNED TEXT] stuff tho thanks too all,realy getin a clearer picture

    id be more looking for a multitasking dog,rabbits mainly wit ferrets and lamp bu something that cud take a fox with the help of another dog and also flush rabbits from ditches..thanks

    [bANNED TEXT]..iv been ferreting for jst over a year now and have become quite obsesed with it.iv only been using purse nets and the ferrets tho and im looking into geting a good ferreting dog and some longnets and stop nets..im just looking for some advice on wats the best type of dog and training them and mainly actualy useing the dog in the field to flush and/or catch rabbits in ditches and the like and geting them used to my ferrets..ANY advice at all would be gratly apreciated.. jst a pic of my last dog,bit of an appitite for bunnies ha..

    jst thought id pop a discusion dat me and my frnd wer having..what are the advantages/disadvantages of nylon purse nets over hemp or visa versa?iv got all nylon nets and generaly dont have any problems with them and im probly sticking to them as they dont rot and are a fair bit cheaper.my friend wouldnt be cought dead with nylons,he h8s them,recons rabbits will run straight thru them..i think hes over exadurating big time.ny opinions?

    oh good god ha.PLEASE do not feed them bread and milk whatever yo do.best thing to do is read as much about them online or in a decent book but i recomend a good diet of varied meats.i get my local butcher to keep me chicken carcases,neaks,lamb,beef and any good meaty non salted or seasond scraps,if u can get sum whole rabbits(fur guts n all) there grate.i get beef liver quite cheap if not free too and that good for them bout once or twice a week along with an egg.dont over do it on ether of them cus there both very rich foods and can cause problems if given too regularly..they idealy shud be
