  9. its nice to see some people russells, but i think we are loosing a bit on this thred,it does say "good working russells"weather you hunt mice in a barn or dig to fox "yes its work"but to me and a lot of lads i know terriers where born to hunt to ground, some of these pictures i see are bordering on silly perthetic pets which prob hasent even been to ground, who gives a stuff how its bred and poxy papers, the fox in the ground dont give a shit if you terrier got papers or not,if you just take a look at the free ads or most papers and web sites which sell dogs,it makes me sick to see an add to the a

  14. lads theres some cracking looking workers up on this thred,il try and resize some tomorrw and put them up,and its nice to see that people are still using them to ground and its not just the black dogs that can work
  15. i agree tassa, why he wants to spoil it with plummer blood is beyond me ATB.[/quo the plummer cross im using is my own and hes working 100%,he is 2 and half years old and hes had 28 under him,hes a steady little dog, dosent hardly get hurt is style of working suits me,you can drop in anywhere and he can be called out,he does have a fault and thats his size hes very small and can get bullied about"if you know what i mean"the bitch in question will have all this season to prove her worth but she is going well already,
  16. nice looking terrier you have there..have you done much with him bob
  17. thanks for the replies lads,im only interested in working terriers to earth and none of mine has ever seen a show ring.
  18. worker to worker, and his daughter will be lined to a decent plummer/russell when she breaks down, she maybe just turning 19 mts old but this bitch hasent failed yet,12 on her and not a scratch well hardly any thing anyway...in this day and age we got to keep bayers.
  19. i think the way things are regarding the law and "GRASSING b*****ds"we cannot keep hard mute terriers, ive had them and they dont last that long, you cannot use hard dogs every week, unlike russells, mind you ive seen some hard russells over the years, imo if you want to get out every week to work you terriers to ground the best choice is a bayer/sounder..obviosly they come in all shapes and forms be it black dogs, lakies etc but i think the majority of bayers will come has russells
  20. he was dug to 100 in just over two seasons, and that was without what he had bolted,i have a bitch out of him at kennells and she going well
  21. We dug a good hall on this dog before he was retired,
