    gulls

Just to clarify my where abouts,im in the valleys of south wales, and the reason im quiet is i have been out on a lambing call early this morning and didnt get back till 12,oclock...and another thing there are a lot of people on here stating they have taken certain game"we wont mention"but to the experinced hunting men know excatlly what they mean,so taking a "dirty meanacing gull with a .22 with the landowners permission"is nothing, and if anybody on here would like to send the authoritys around to my place then please do,i am all above board,to me it seems a lot on here are just computer hunte

  5. If the dog does what you want him to do and you are happy with him dont worry what people think of the dog or what he looks like... :thumbs:to me he looks an old fashoned type, and theres nothing wrong with that

  12. these are the two young guns i had with me yestarday, our future rests in people like these, without them the goverment dont have to worry about the ban has it will deminish anyway, prime example just look at the state in the "working terriers"that are about...
  13. another prime example of a good fox well done DABBLER...KEEP THE GOOD WORK UP
  14. Another picture from the call out,not a decent one but the rain just pissed down
  15. When the public say that foxs cant or dont take lambs, chickens etc..take a look at the size of that fox in my picture and compare it to my terrier box but take into account the fox is soaking wet,yes its a dog fox but when you actully hold him up he weighed a good 20lb+ and with ivory to match, and i have no doubt in my mind that he would have no problem in taking stock(the picture dosent do him justice)the area where he was taken has held some good foxs over the last few seasons they are in xellent coodition and very large...imo the public only see cute cudly foxs, but in a matter of fact these
  16. Had a phone call yet again landowner getting heavey loses with his stock,we called up there at stupid o,clock in the morning,no lurchers just terriers and guns purley pest control purposes, checked a very big earth dog found and done some running around, showed 8.4--then 2.6 on the ortovox stood back with my two guns awaiting and out he bolts down hill with two shots on him flatened by a young lad and this happed to be his first fox he shot with his gun,it was a good 50 yarder and running flat out the lad took his time and carried it out well has there was a gun just in front of him and his li
  17. Its not the site that gets people caught, its peoples stupidity,if you showing pictures of digs/kills obviosly they are well within the realavent hunting laws,i make sure i hunt within the law i.e.carry written permission, despatch quarry humanly, and if any dogs need traetment get to the vets,i grant you its getting harder by the year, most genuine hunters not only have the police and rspca to contend with but JOE PUBLIC aswell, when you hunting the hill you got ramblers, hill walkers m.o.d.training(in some areas)all can be a threat when they are armed with a mobile phone and video camera, and farme
  18. bolted two decent foxs on the farm that was loosing this week,i had previosly went there the other night and it was too foggy got there at 6am this morning the young lad with me shot his first fox...a thrashing dog fox more than capable of killing lambs, the farmer is well chuffed,il get some pics up tomorrw has il out again this evening on another call out.
  19. went to the one farm that had rang me up,hour and half drive and then the fog came down back up first light...shit time of year i hate doing this especially when im asked to clean up on other peoples farms,f..wankers half of them if they were doing a proper job people like me woulndt be called up,on the good side at least it will be another new place for next year "when we get the job done"
  20. nice type of terrier, and i wouldnt say hes smashed by far,and i wouldnt want to post a smashed terrier/lurcher on an open forum that the public can log on and read print pictures off...just be carefull in what you are typing...nice dog and i bet you want to keep hold of him
  21. 24. What would you say the ideal power should be when going for a clean kill with an air rifle .22 or .177 spring/pcp,and at what range i.e. 11ft lb 30 yds,ive just bought in a .22 hw95 firing at 10ft lb,i shot a crow at 25yds and the fu..just dropt off the roof but was still alive and kicking...im a bit concerned at its power to be honest thanks.
