  3. air arms s400 with hawke reflex 3-10x44. im going to get a super sling and bipod for christmas and if im lucky maybe even a brand new hawke map6 4-12x50AO (woohoo)
  4. point blank an air pistol above 4ftibs can dispatch a rabbit. but i think hes talking about squirrels. just by a cheap air rifle as you dont need accuracy for dispatching. smk b2: £60
  5. is it classic or carbine? im not intrested in it its just there quite a difference in length.
  6. can i ask what you are doing with the rabbits? are they being eaten or are they damaging farmers crops? i find the necking way more effective when dealing with a rabbit in a snare. i remeber the second time i ever shot a rabbit and i was really panicy as i had hit it slightly lower than i intended and it was scrambling around wounded. i tried the neck way but i was inexperienced and didnt do it prperly so i just put in another pellet and gave it point blank. now i know how to neck a rabbit and rarely have to but its a really useful skill to know. ask an experienced snareman/hunting shop owner
  7. s400. lots of shots per fill and easy to use. well balanced and powerful. also BSA scorpions single shot are supposed to be good. edited to put in links: http://www.bsaguns.co.uk/gun_scorpion_carb.php http://www.air-arms.co.uk/products_S400.html

  10. hi migmog. i dont know if the magazine on air arms s410's take the same pellets as the single shot s400 as well but FT trophy work best in mine. 1 hole groups easy at 30 yrds.

  15. the best thing about britain is it has wales in it. shame about it's neighbours though....
  16. hi, im thinking of choosing a new scope for my rifle. it would be adjustable mag. with the scope i have at the moment (hawke reflx 3-10x40) i zero at 10x and usually hunt at 9x unless under 20 yrds when i go down to 7-8X. extreme close range i'll go down to 5-6X. also, what is a paralex? oh and my scope needs to be under £ preferably. cheers,Aaron
  17. hi guys, do any of you knwo have any airgun clubs in south wales, around cardiff preferably. the reason i ask is because i want to improve my shooting and improvve my stanind shots more to the point as i cant hit anything with a standing shot. thanks Aaron,
