  3. Spot on Taff . I wish I spoke to you earlier!! I removed the stock with the Single allen screw at the bottom but struggled a bit until I noticed the way is pulled straight out, it looks like a O ring that grips the stock when the action is lifted out. you're also 100% bang on about the pins!! one was about 2 mil protruding from one side which I pushed back in, I'll drop the stock again later and stick some tape over them .... atb Jasp lol glad to of been some help least you know then you wont have any dramas at all, happy hunting
  4. Soon to lose a good ferreting friend, I have 3 large permissions if anyone in the area, wants to get out give me a shout, that stands for people who are new to the sport and have no equipment.
  5. they are lovely rifles but if you do ever remove the stock for cleaning purposes lift the action straight up, i have seen the thin bit of wood near the pressure gauge snap more times than once, also check the pins in the trigger housing as i have seen them just fall out resulting in it not firing, tape either side stops them falling out. lovely rifle well balanced pleasure to shoot.
  6. Some good info there mate, whats happening with you are you posted or still up this way?
  7. FERRETING An Essential Guide by Simon Whitehead, really god book goes through everything you could possibly need to know from keeping ferrets, working them, working ferrets with dogs, rifles and birds. also covers using mk1 2 and 3 ferret finder.

  11. Thats sound advice from Stubby, I think alot of people would sooner give freebies to the members who have been around for abit. The reason i say that is because it dont take much for a person to claim there a youngster get some freebies, 2 months later make a new account and start all over. Try and get someone to maybe take you out, let you handle a few ferrets, you may not take to ferreting or ferrets after a few nips from one. Good luck! wish you the best of luck
  12. sounds like the superstar, as the person said above should get your hand snapped of got rid of mine last month they are top rifles and very accurate. Only got rid cause im into the ferrets i was lucky got brand new mk3 finder and 2 mk3m collars. good luck with the sale (very cheap)
  13. Never used any other locators so didnt have a clue how to use one, bought a mk3 self taught to use by getting my sons to hide a collar lol. Have had no problems with it in the field easy to use an in my opinion very accurate.
  14. i had the same problem when i had a s400 with a AA silencer the pellets were clipping the very end of the silencer. bought a ukneil one no probs after and totally silenced.
  15. being in the army alot of my permissions are on mod land, there is a horse race course and a arena, which even run by civilians and given permission by them i was later informed that i wasnt to shoot, after digging around i now have the permission from mod estates, so the mod plod is probably right, he should know he will have all mod land marked up on a map, so that they know which areas to be monitoring.
