    The lurcher i have had for around 6 weeks is 3 years old and is up for all quarry. The problem i have is when she catches she runs about 20 meters away from me and does not want me to have her prize. Can i stop her / change her or is she too old in your experiences

    Kat I think you have a MAJOR problem with this dog the only way to sort this out and to prevent your other dog from being ruined is GIVE HER TO ME

    she is big and more suited for open fields i think she does show interest where i go but seems to struggle to catch as theres not much open space which she needs to get going you can tell she is not greyhound she seems to have better feet and her head is different as i said she is really good on the lamp and in the open and she fears nothing and will take anything i will keep with her as she is a nice dog and has fitted in really well so far.

    I purchased a 3 year old bitch 7/8th Greyhound X 1/8 Collie about 6 weeks ago she was really unfit and in poor condition, i fed her right and got her fit The guy said she does all types of quarry,which she DOES she has got a great temperament and seems to love me already the only thing is she dont seem to be that good where i mostly walk my dogs ie: waste land with plenty of cover /bushes she is tops when i travel a fair way to the open fields and she is really good on the lamp i feel like i am not giving her what she needs by walking her where my terriers and my beddy whippet love it

    sire is a nuttall dog and dam is patterdal x lakeland both 100% workers to ground also used for bushing with the gun and work with hounds through the winter both owned by myself-thanks Butler Are interested in a pup????     I agree with you Millet ,but what about in the classifieds when someone is trying to sell something and idiots have to slag them off ,even though they have no intention to buy or have no interest in whats for sale Someone always has to say a s**t remark They should be removed i think

    I find that my straight whippet gets too cold once she is wet or if its really cold out my beddy X whippet in my profile will work all day and night

    Thanks guys He liked the HW 99s so thats what we got him Zeroed it in last night and he was hitting the target pretty good struggled to break the barrel at first ,but got the hang of it Cheers
