Can anyone tell me how they cause there smoker to bolt rats please. im using a 10 to 1 mix with petrol and 2 stroke oil,im either doing holes where nothing is at home or the smoke is not thick enough or strong enough am i doing things the correct way???

the last 3 posts all agree with me tuffpaul are we all wrong? are we thinking of the pups well being too much? we all know some pups can tackle rats earlier but a big rat could ruin a 10 week old pup mate

no problems with 2 young uns mate nothing to worry about apart from how much mischief they will get up to together

Depends on the dog himself but i would not even think about it until about 6 months old with my borders every dog is different beddy's are hard as nails , you will know when he is ready mate

I have found the russell ,lakeland and patts tend to get smashed up alot more than the border terriers even when only 1 is to ground. sometimes they are too hard for there own good the borders seem to be alot more sensible ie:get the job done without getting smashed. excellent post mate i have even heard of terriers being suffocated below ground due to the 2nd dog closing the 1st one in

Dogs do this to mask there scent mate , so their quarry cant smell them
