  3. i agree with .terrier man. you'll probs never stop him doing it, but you can minimize the amount of fights he gets in if he's leashed in public places

  6. thanks for the reply's & advice people!!! its difficult because she can be fine with some dogs & murder with others, never really know which its gona be until its happening ...but like someone has already said about there dog, shes not really into the usual dog stuff, sniffing the ass & all that, she never turns her back but could still be fine sometimes. a good example would be yesterday i was walking her with my partner & kids (she was off the lead) a guy was walking in our direction with a bulldog on the lead, she runs up to it, they start sniffing face to face (all s
  7. IF its a good worker just put up with it mate. Hi mate, what age is the bitch, she sounds like a nervous biter. if its mature i dont think much can be done for it. If you can put up with it then all the best, personally it would have to have other exceptional traits, or im afraid it would be history. I could put up with a bit of fighting, but a biter i dont think i could keep. Cheers Pernod shes 3years old. ...might be down to fear mate, like i said she got attacked when she was a pup twice so i think its just f****d her up a bit! shes worth keeping though
  8. Normally if it's sudden and unexpected it's a combination of fear and lack of socialisation as a pup. Neither of which may be your fault. You could reduce it if you put lots of work into it but I doubt you will ever stop it completely now. Just make sure its not all you as sometimes a dog can do it once for an unknown reason then continue doing it as they pick up on their owners nerves. As said already just live with it and treat her accordingly. If you walking her in public then just keep her away from other dogs and maybe consider a muzzle. I have one that is aggressive to other dogs whi
  9. aye, i wouldnt give her up Mate. was just wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to sort the problem. if it cant be resolved then it cant be resolved, but thought it would be worth a bash to see what people though... cheers for the reply though Magners
  10. Just a question lads! Anyone ever had a terrier that starts fights with dogs 85% of the time?? she's fine one minute then just snaps, duno why? She gets plenty of exercise (where there is other dogs) & she gets worked regularly. She is also not very keen on people, she Will bite if given the chance... once again though thats a 50/50. very unpredictable wee dog. good worker though so wouldnt wana give her up... any ideas??

  12. thats the way to be Im affraid, A bad or retierd dog takes as much room and food as a good one, if you look on them as a pet thats diffrent all together. I understand what your saying But if this animal in question has put its back out, gave all it had Everytime you were out then it deserves to be with you until its not anymore in my opinion
