    right or wrong . i seen my mate shoot and kill with one shot an adult fox touching 20 yards with his standard s200. i'v seen him drop hares and rabbits up to 50 yards with it aswell hare's are very thin skinnied unlike rabbits which are thick skinned little fockers. despite their size hares fall to the gun clealy at range if hit in the right spot my furthest shot on hare with an air rifle[webley raider 22] well lets say it was well over 70 yard's, bit of a fluke shot maybe. but i still connected and the hare dropped. wow so many wrong thing to say on an open forum, i thi

    bsa scorpion is a good rifle but the air arms s200 is superior, as there are lots of after sales accessories such as 10 shot magazine conversion, its own silencer, brass bolt handle etc. how do i know?? i have owned the s200 and shot with the scorpion regularly and the s200 did it for me. your budget of £500 im assuming is for charging gear such as a pump or bottle?? and other accessories? oh and listen too me as i have had 9 air rifles in 2 years and me latest one is .177, and if anyone trys to tell you its a weak calibre tell 'em to shut their face

    you shouldnt take running shot. You obviosly injured the rabbit and you should stick to the targets before you hunt, just so your confident of a clean kill every time.

    you proberly wont get an FAC if you use spellings like that. good god you picky ******* that was a nice comment on the thread. D**K H**D :glare: anyway i am the same age as you and if you think your pushing your luck asking for a FAC heres a few things... . you cant push your luck with the police, your asking for a pefectly resonable thing and they wont be able to say no. It might be worth ringing the basc - if you not a member i fully recommed you do so. No really they are so helpful when i rang them they told me everything straight and how it was, you wont get mixed answer

    you can do it but i think its a tad unsporting. When there going about 40MPH and they are bloody high, thats what i call sporting and how did you take them at night, i hope you wernt lamping. If you were your a really unsporting T**t

    i was taught to follow the bird for 2 sceonds and then swing past the bird. An easy way to remember this is bum belly beak bang.

    i put too mcu hlube on some pellets and my guns was spewing them all over the place. Washed it off and fine , accurate as normal

    what we should do is where they are all martching along, get a really big lorry and park it round a corner. They will all be to interested in chanting and wont even notice they are walking into an open lorry. When they are all in drive like the wind to wherever the bloody hell they came from

    mate the gauges arent that good on em, but when you get to 200 on your bottle, put the cylinder back on and mark with a shapie (pen) where the 200 bar reads on the gun gauge and run it down to 150 bar and mark again. Thats what i did, and i think a trip to the gun shop would be unessesary because they will tell you the same thing

    just a word of advice if someone offers you an smk or crossman DO NOT TAKE IT they are very inaccurate and have little aftersales, how do i know?? because u did it maybe give em a kick in the ball if they do

    with air rifle it was a jackdaw in the barns and with a shotgun it was a duck on my first ever shot of a shotgun, was borrowing a 20 bore for a driven day when i was 13, was flippin chuffed to bits, and for rifles.... well have to see. FAC takes ages

    first duck shoot today and we took the 1 and 1/2 yr old spaniel to a duck shoot. On the first drives a duck was downed very close and i let him off the lead to retrieve. He picked it and came back. Later he seemed to be showing alot of interest in a male dog (trying to hump it nugget :wallbash: ) and after would not retrieve anything and kept rolling on the ducks and mouthing them hmm1.gif . ME and my gramp have shot pigeons and crow before and he has retrieved them. Could this non retrieving bis be to do with the interest in the male dog or because he got too excited (1st time)?? help

    for a variation do you have to write a letter in to the the FEO or fill in all those forms with referees again?? thanks
