  1. Out for a short walk with Awen today. He has his 3 terriers (2russels and red patterdale cross?) and his blue lurcher bitch. I had my brindle lurcher and the fawn coloured terrier cross.   6. One of them will give the odd yip but the lurchers always work close with the spaniels that wont work further than 60yds away as they get whisteld back if they go any further.atb dell Cheers
  7. Thank you. Cheers Sky08 shes coming on great with her training and has endless amounts of energy. Dont know where it all comes from to be honest as she isn't gettin fed properly.
  8. So you could actually see if she was underweight. Besides most of her food is going into her legs at the moment.
  9. I can assure you she gets a good feed. She eats all she can and is wormed regularly. To be quite honest with you I think that comment was quite uncalled for as you cant even properly see the pups side
  10. Do the spaniels tha work with lurchers alert the lurchers to where the prey is by yapping/barking?
  11. Few picks of the pup and terrier. Pups growing fast and is 17/18tts at 4 months. Terriers a rescue, crossbred thing. 4 years old and has started showing good signs and has started bushing. Just have to get her out with some good working bushers to show her how its done.

  14. I am wanting to get a bushing dog around the start of next year to work with my lurchers and am wanting to know how effective springers are in tight brambles? On my permission theres alot of tight bramble spots, would a springer cope with these or would I be better off getting a terrier. Thanks in advance. Will.

  17. Anyone been lamping in the snow, whilst snowing or afterwards? Was thinking of popping out for a bit and its started pelting down. Cheers
  18. I go out with some cracking little bushing terriers. Pushed out everything from rabbit to roe.
  19. I have at least 4 people including myself ready to march.
