    Just wondering, before i swap my rather bendy electric fence poles on my quick set long net for hazel poles, wether there are any strong reasons why i shouldn't ? I know, i know i am a tight git, but its either a new basket, or new poles, i cant buy both this time of year lol. and if you saw my home made basket, you would know why thats the most important buy

    To muddy the water even more, some of those welsh, scotish highland and island, and norfolk villages don't look like they have had any out crossing in quite a while.

    I came to a different conclusion, if you were born in England, you are English, but wether an English man or not, all depends on what sex you are.

    I'm sure you mean british, instead of english. There has always been boarder crossing and interbreeding between England, wales, ireland and scotland. To me, I am English because I was born in England. Though my great grand parents were not.

    Its funny sh how you often refer to "the tribes" as sort of derogatory term, then seem to be a part of at least 2 or 3 tribes yourself. Also amusing how many of you talk of "this once great country" which was actually great due to us going to everyone else's countrys lol.

    Wheres the cut off point that makes you British ? Pre world wars? Pre norman conquest ? Pre Roman occupation ? Or is it simular to flora and fauna, as in over 500 years ? Or is it based on skin colour only ? I've never really understood.
