On snow its not a problem but if the ground is that hard its just not worth smashing their toes up for the sake of waiting until it thaws out. No rabbit is worth fecking up a good dog but im sure a few will still run theirs and pay the price in the long run.

Mike i feed tripe or mince every so offten as it makes a change for the dogs instead of dry complete food.Theres a bloke on here from wales that sells it and brings it over PM me if you want his details. kev

yes it was good as they took the hounds down to oldbury and had a run from there that didnt last long then they hunted up by whiskey hill and put one up there that gave them a very good run then they finished down on the severn

It seems that mixi is all over the country .i have a lot of land to hunt over and every bit has it on now and i dont think its going to get better for a long time to come

We didnt find out they were there until it was to late but im sure they will be there next year as it was a fantastic place to hide cause know body could see you until it was to late and if it all came on top they could run to the carpark but as i said now we know roll on next year

Every Year its the same handfull of scum bags that try and disrupt the hunt in thornbury high street. This year they were hiding at the top of the high street throwing sweets at the riders as they were riding past and there was not a copper insight !!!!! ..Bring on next year now we know where they like to hide

yes mate the vet will take both dew claws off at the same time it a very small opp with only about 4 stiches in each leg but as i said you are better of not having any

if you have that much dosh to buy one get the best you can iv just got a new lumix dmc-tz7 its the best camera iv ever had its 12meg with a fantasic zoom on it. go to comet and play with a few before you part with your dosh

get the vet to cut them both off at the same time as its the same cost for two as it is for one its no good straping it up as it will keep 0n doing it and you will spens more time with the dog laid up then working. Best of luck

I had a greyhound bitch years ago that had a nail the same as this and it kept growing then spliting and every time i worked her it would end up hanging off in the end the vet said she would just remove the nail from the toe so the bitch still had good balance on her feet. After she removed the nail she said she had a good look at it to see why it kept spliting and she said it was split as far back at the root so when a new nail grows it should be ok. After about 3mts a new nail did grow and it was much better but i always kept it very short at about 5mm long and she never had a problem again

Try worming the dog and then change its food give it tripe and some veg as it must be missing something in it food if that dont work put a muzzel on it untill it gets out of the habit best of luck but let us know how it gets on -
yes mate it is the one with the basket ..... i think there alot easyer to set out as i have both and use both but think the quickset is faster to set out and pack up but as para1 says each to his own what ever suits you

As geoff c says i put boiling water down my barrels every 3mts or so .i bung up one end and fill up the barrel with boiling water and leave it in no more then 30 seconds cause the barrels get very very hot to the point you cant hold them with bare hands once i let the water go i put a good strong brush though a few times and it removes all the crap that stick to the barrels. hope this helps kev

Its a good ideal snap shop even if they dont like it it will still fill up there server mail box with emails proving that there is alot of us hunters out there that do give a shit what we do in our sport and as you say there are 20,000 members on here
