no, no barbed wire fences for at least half a mile let alone on bottom aswell. the only explanation the local farmer could come up with is either fox :wacko: or maybe some one had been keeping track of them by clipping there ears, because all the ones with chopped ears had terrible mixie.

Yesterday i was out at a permission (vicorage) where the garden and orchard is filled with rabbits due to the owner not being able to sort to them because of his age. i started early and bagged two straight away, but during the day i only shot and saw rabbits with mixie. Also i've noticed before that some rabbits have had there ears clipped (picture below) and i was just wondering if any one else had come across it before?

haha huge pigeon i got one the other day, its food pouch was almost bursting with seed

today i was just out having a look round my local farmers recently cut corn field with my air rifle about to go back home thinking the field was empty when a woodies head popped up so i raised the gun and aimed at its head due to the only thing showing. So that part went smoothly and as i went over to pick it up low and behold there were two plump woodies lying side by side with a perfect head shot in both so im going to have a nice pigeon curry tonight. sorry to be a bore but i thought i should share this with you guys and i was just wondering if people do it commonly? please post if so. r

You did right someone has to disapline them, chavs like that give my age the bad reputation and forfill the stereotype and they just completely ruin it for every one.

haha the old mans approach does work but dos'nt produce much! i've got a old wooden compost heap and i introduced a few worms into there and now they've bred like crazy

grr i hate crayfish they litter the floor of the river severn when you leger for chub thats all you end up catching. oh sorry the answer to your question - try lunchion meat and i catch them on pellets but abit expencive just to feed "colin".

dunno if this is the case there but weve seen it with small ones no more than 5 pound washed up due to a bad storm the night before
