why dont you download a squirrel chatter on your phone and play it and wait under the squirrels they should poke their heads out with out getting spooked and it will be easier to carry

theres loads of vids on youtube its mostly moles on there though

i think the red filter will make them less spooked but if u go lamping regually they will start to get more spooked over time

who told you that they wreck your gun mate ?

try using some field pellets, hollow points aint the most accruate, and keep your breathing under control when you shoot i breath out when im about to pull the trigger

i would go out in the ngiht with the lamp to see where they are most active then just stay still out of site and make sure the wind aint going towards the rabbits or they will smell you. good luck shooting
