i use LITTLE NIPPER MOUSE TRAP'S. i think they are the best mouse trap out there. for bait i'v used all sort's. butter,chocolate, bread. realy anything you would eat yourself. mice aint fussy they'l eat anything. i dont like to use poisen. i like to see the lil fockers sparked in the trap.

yeah i'v scalped em .hit em straight threw both eye's in and out . and they have been still alive i dont alway's take head shot's at woodies . no need to . proper shot placement at the correct ranges will drop woodies flat. next time you have a dead' un' examine it check it's anatomy this will give you better understanding of were to place yer shot. and that old armour plating bollock's always crop's up put a dead woodie up at 30 yard's shoot it in the chest and i bet the shot goes right threw that armour .in and out.. sure sometimes they will fly'n'die when hit in the chest. but they

9 times outa 10 woodie's hit in the chest with a 177 do a fly 'n' die. try a heavier slug it might help... i personaly favour a 22. i shot over 50 woodies in a night mostly body shot's around 25 yard's with my 22 raider and they were dropping like bag's 'a' shite..

yeah the first raider's are great gun's. and very underrated IMO... .. mine has accounted for thousand's 'a' pest's over the years. and has never let me down. it's got a few scar's though.

not recent shot's these. rabbit neck shot 70 yard's with a 177 hw80. brown hare heart shot. 57 yard's .22 webley raider. both dropped like sack's of shit.

you pay's yer money you takes yer pick. dont be put off about entry level. the other gun's mentioned will not kill or hit target's any better. look's dont kill .

air arm's s200. with hawk 3/9 .50 scope will fill yer need's for well under your budget.. you will be able to get you and your son one each and still have change.

as long as your pellet does not leave your garden boundry you can shoot in there no problem.. now get them maggies plugged.

i'v alway's wore DPM and always will. as someone already said no matter were you shoot in the uk ,any time of year it fit's in. except when the field's and wood's have a good layer of snow. then i wear a white boiler suit. like what painter and decoraters use. i'v got rediculously close to all quarry in it . i'v been sat back to a tree in DPM and had squirrel's come to close [ touching distance] for a shot. when i wash my cammies..maybe once in a blue moon i never use washing powder .just water. i guess a big part of shooting ,cammies ect is in your head . if you think real tree ect.

you need both power and accuracy to stop quarry cleanly... but even then injuries do happen fron time to time .it's just part of shooting. and not just with airgun's either i'v seen nuff bird's injured with shot gun aswell . but like some one has already said you must respect all quarry and give it a quick humane end.

a legal limit 22 will flatten maggies stone dead at upto 5o yard's with a heart shot . i no i have done it hundred's of times. nee bother. magpies are pretty flimsy bird's so there's no need to head shot em.

starling's were legal up until a couple of year's ago . i used to shoot a lot of em 84 was my record in a day on the old starling's..

i hope you mean you shot the pigeon. and left the starling well alone starling's are not legaly shootable quarry anymore

most bird's dont have a sense of smell. the only bird i know that has is the turkey vulture so you should be ok.

if you ask around you might get some feral pigeon shooting in old building's, factory's ect..

just seen it on you tube. look's like it would be a good short to medium range ratting gun.
