  8. you been sayin you wanna go out . obviously the only way to see a dog goin, is goin out with it if you think nuttalls dont go your wrong i'v seen plenty and owned a few nuttalls over the years , that would face anything for as long as it took and though i no longer partake in diggin nowadays. i went down brian a few month back and got a pup off him . i just like a terrier about the place nuttall is a nice guy who has devoted his life to terriers, fair do's nowadays he's got a well respected name and makes a few quid good on him . he earned his reputation years ago before most of u
  9. nuttall may not be producing world beaters every litter. but he consistently breeds dogs that will go to ground and graft. his dogs may not be to everyones liking, but ya cant please em all some of the best dogs i ever seen graft werent parkes, nuttall, booth or anyone else ye care to mention. they were basically pedigree unknown border /lakies. fairgame if you want taking out for a do your goin the wrong way about it..
  10. i tried a few strains of terrier about 18 years ago. i had some nice dogs off parkes and my mate at the time kept and worked only parkes strain. and he new john very well. my mate loaned wendy bell a black parkes bred terrier called blitz ,a real over hard dog, anyway wendy bell put this dog to some of her bitches ,producing some handy dogs. i had a red bitch off parkes ,very border lookin. she didnt enter till she was 3 year old, but when she did she was very hard, overhard. and within a year she had face like donner kebab. and could only be used for digging once in a while. personaly for me
  11. i have a [ black] grey squirrel in the freezer . i got it off a guy in buckinghamshire he trapped it down there. and tell's me he's had a few over the years. if you want a few tail hairs you can have em. but i am a taxidermist and will be naturalizing the squirrel . so i can t pull a lot of hairs out. would a few be ok.

  17. i used the scent glands off a dead mink. put em in a small screw top jar with a couple of table spoons of cod liver oil. pour it over some pigeon feather's , dig a blank hole, scented feathers at the back, trap in front, bish ,bosh dead mink worked like a charm for me... i believe glenn waters[snareman] uses this as a lure. works great..
  18. chicken or oxtail soup. brings em out many a rat has met it's end ,while enjoying a drop of hienz move any you kill and if there is blood ,sprinkle a bit of sand or earth on it . other rats dont like coming to the bait if one of their mates is laid near it with his nappa blown off. or there is a big pool of claret near bait...
