  5. When you move away from the land and getting shit on your hands, you move away from the cycle of life and the reason humans became the dominant species on earth, i think this is the main cause of a lot of societies ills…..no one will pay the true cost of food today so the real green farming practices result in food which is too costly to produce…..unfortunately….a lot of fella’s would have to no time for blackguarding in that way of life…..the real issue is too many people on this earth now….but that won’t be addressed….
  6. Comes down to Urban/Rural divide. The majority of urbanites will believe the vegan agenda about the poor animals being slaughtered in a slaughterhouse, which is abhorrent to their thought processes, not withstanding the fact where ruminants are being grazed, it is most efficient or only way of farming the land. Food production has to double to feed the world by 2040. How will this be achieved whilst cutting back methane production? It can’t…think about that fact…doubled… food grown in a dish…..gm Foods….mmmm….food that is going to more of environmental impact than cattle or sheep….supe
  7. Anything that tills the earth emits CO2, which cannot be targeted in the medium term….and you’re correct it’s worse for the environment….
  8. The reasons there blaming the cow is: methane is the gas that they can quickly and easily target with least amount of resistance. It suits the green agenda. It is probably the only gas they might be able to limit production of in the medium term. What they won’t tell you is cow’s fed on a grain diet (straights) produce less methane than grass fed cow’s, and agriculture only accounts for 5% of GHG produced world wide yet it’s getting 95% coverage of the bad press…I wonder why?
  9. They can also feed additives that make the rumen more efficient, thereby getting milk out of the cows for less methane produced…….but it goes against the green narrative….

Good……I head out on the bike now….been doing it for a couple of years now…don’t like the effort of going out sometimes but once I’m out for ten minutes, I’m flying it….concentrating on pushing the pedals, focus’s the mind. This seems to allow stressors to float away and lots of solutions to problems come to me when exercising, or least become minimal….. I do think the term mental health is overused now. I know people who have suffered with mental health and most people have no idea how much they suffer. exercise and a bit of fresh air are great tonics…..
