To be honest its difficult to make an assessment from the pic, try and get him out and stood up straight. He would look a hundred times better with a bit of rain on his back. The feathers tend to curl up and go soft when they get too dry. If you can't get him out in a bit of weather then just dunk him in the rain barrel every week-it will make him look much better. What are you wanting to breed for ? The show pen or just to have a few around the place ?

Ko Shamo with the correct feathering (short/sparse) will not do well outside in our colder months. They should be kept indoors if at all possible and put out on grass when the weather permits.
