    I have peacemakers I use their leather gris and it waterproofs them I love my altbergs once broke in they are like slippers best Boots by far I wouldn't entertain anything else i'm going up to there Place nextmonth to get a new pair I like lighter boots so am Going for a pair of sneekers and I'll get my peacemakers resoled while I'm there The socks altberg sell are called falke and are bloody brilliant as well

    Before you part with your cash pal check out Altbergs they really are the business i was put onto em by a lad in the infantry nearly all the army lads wear them

    at the side of meindls and the like they are loads cheaper i had my peacekeepers p1 custom fit for no extra chrge 130 notes boots such as the meindl dovre extreme £225 ! the altbergs have already had some honk out on the land and they are the bizz

    The boots the Army get issued are crap mate. That's why we all go out and spend £130-£140 of our own money because we wear then everyday and crap boots hurt like f**k. The only good boots the army have issued are the jungle boots we got for Belize( note not the magnum ones, they're the worst) and also the cold weather boots for afghan are good for the cold, terrible for warmer weather as they ain't breathable due to them being goretex lined. The boots out of the army surplus stores make me cringe when I see them. Made of compressed cardboard with a leather coating, They really are so bad

    if your on about the standard issue boots i wouldnt use them as plant pots theyre made out of compressed cardboard, take ages to wear in and if you go for a long tab you and up with horrific blisters. last time i wore them was in training and i done 67kilometres and felt like i had took the skin off to the bone. i see them for sale in surplus stores, goths walking about with them on and it makes me cringe if your on about a certain make of issued boots like the magnum jungles we get issued for kenya, the lowa/meindl deserts for afghan of the jungles boots for belize then theyre ok bu

    probably down to pesticides etc which are sprayed on the land. crop spraying has a lot to answer for imho

    300 hares in one season .season: october to end of february 151 days so you were killing at least 2 hares EVERYDAY singlehanded daytime on the fens and then 200 the next season that is some going m.p's 'lucky' killed i think just over 500 in his career must of been some animal mate
