Sorry just sold the last dog called fred for £500 hes going up north, I had a guy interested but recent events at a bbq made me change my mind ha ha bbq dont know what you mean i'll do you a swop for this chocolate thing on my yard it keeps bringing me dead things when i take it out cant be having it Swop and a tenner and its a deal would you accept a mangy old stuffed vixen and a cub?? oh and some old tea towels All i can think of is "mute"

    in mild winters hares do continue breeding but as a rule courtship usually starts january til august sometimes later earliest your likely to see leverets is january brown hares gestation period is thought to be about 42 days although no one knows as very hard to study being nocturnal animals

    Jon,i think the Retrieva system is about £199 for collar and charger and then £11 a month subscription fee not cheap but looks very clever stuff.I was considering it for when dogs are in their run not really for out on the land

    I have looked into this a little myself these tracking devices apparently cannot be implanted like a microchip because to send and receive satellite and telecom signals a power source is required, so with recharging or replacement necessary it just would not be practical. Retrieva system does look good though as if someone took the dog maybe they would not realise it was fitted with a tracking collar right away. It may give you enough time to find the animal; is mighty expensive though.

    l agree yea cant go wrong with this if yea want a small lucher . Fast,good coat, and game so l would go for this breed if l was you any thing with greyhound in it will but alot off height into your lucher so if your looking something small stick till a whippet cross. What a load of bollocks!! i have a beddy/grey x collie/grey standing at 21"! iceman you were more or less asking the question in november(bushing dog)... this is what i meant about people giving advice which is incorrect. let people help who have r=tryed and tasted there pherorys..... i have a beddy

    i like to add a couple of eggs to first meal when dogs have been working extra protein good for rebuilding muscle protein i cook till white in cup of boiling water,,drain then add to feed it increases acceptance. eggs are not bad for dogs good source of protein
