    SAT NAV

I have the tomtom go 510 and have to say it is spot on full postal code search ,and from what i have seen on the maps it contains major , minor and unclasified roads in ireland used it recently to go to a gunshop down south of england put in the full post code and it took me right outside the door , definitley worth buying a sat nav if you do a bit of traveling
  2. Is it not law then,or is it one of those things the local old bill throw into the mix? Martyn the only thing i had to do was get permision from one farmer to shoot deer and that was it deer were placed on my licence
  3. Congratulations Dale & mrs Dale sure is a life changeing thing, both of you will have a lot of sleeples nights but its worth it . my daughter is now 4 and the time seems to fly in , once again congrats & the best of health to the three of you
  4. Martyn i have deer on my ticket and dont have dsc1 so where that came from i dont know i can use my 223 for roe deer in scotland and i have a 243 for roe and other deer in england and scotland , i also beleive that if you fail dsc1 you only need to retake the catagories that you fail on ,hopefuly will be takeing dsc1 myself this year in eskdalemuir
  5. Good work ,nothing better than keeping the farmer happy by takeing possible lamb killers out , the same result has gained us deer stalking ,not the best but one or two about
  6. This is my remi 700 vssf in 223 (soon to be blueprinted 223 Ackley imp) using 55gr v-max lapua brass , 25.5 gr benchmark a very efective and acurate fox rifle for me
  7. Keep up the good work Conor , like yourself i use a rifle for FOX CONTROL and i am sure sheep farmers would prefer foxs are kept under control using efective meathods ,i am not saying that using dogs is not an efective way of controling foxs but some areas we shoot only a fool would run a dog ,and if i were a sheep farmer i am sure i would prefer a rifle shooter with a moderated rifle on my land rather than have dogs running around disturbing stock , after all each to is own and sports men, women shouldnt condem each others sport ,from what i have seen and experienced shooters respect the
  8. Bloody good night you had there conor , at the moment eight is the best we have had but hopefuly will hit the double sometime , keep it going and well done
  9. Nice day there v-max , hopeing to get more deer stalking done myself this season , going to have to pay for it though , but hopefuly it will be worth it
  10. We also strugle to call them in at this time of year ( we will finish shortly anyway unless we get a call out ) , a couple of week ago over in the north east we saw three fox's no more than 150 yds away , looked like it was two dogs where after a vixen , had the foxpro and tryed various calls but other things were on there minds , after a while one fox stoped and gave enough time to squeze off a shot , down it went (dog fox ) needles to say the other two made off , competition removed
  11. Wouldnt like to come across that while out lamping
  12. thanks for that baldie for the info ,will most definatly try them
  13. The callmaster on the left is a call we have been using for two seasons now and have to say it is a good call ,had many fox's with it that were not intrested in a mouth call, sometimes it may not bring them in but it stops them long enough to take them out , other times there is nothing to be seen ,on goes the call and have had many fox come in that fast you have to stop them before they get too close ,a good call indeed , Now the call on the right is in a diferent league , i was lucky enough to win this call on a very good site with members that have a very good knowledge of firearms & r
  14. Have any of you had experience using the 223 Ackley imp ,if so how did you find it, having my remi blueprinted and going for the Ack ,would be intrested to see if any one has experience in this cal

  16. i had a ruger 1022 for a while but it wasnt the gun for me had to much bother in not recycling (even though it was cleaned on a regular basis ) i now have a sako finfire never looked back ,accurate and a real nice feel
  17. good night out then Foxhunter ,weather here absolutly crap over the last two night's ,no fox's shot this weekend
  18. nowt mate its a green neopreen cover, ha had you going nowt mate its a green neopreen cover, ha had you going did you get my pm foxshot..... no nothing yet Remmy
  19. that's some quality stalking you have had Remmy ,i take it you payed for it
  20. Remmy just out of intrest what are your loads ,looking to develop a load for my winchester in 243 for when i can get out stalking ,do you just stalk roe ,dont think i could get the accuracy you have , would be happy for ,inch at 200 Cheers
  21. quarter at 200 is good accuracy i take it you homeload ,i have the problem of my remi being front heavy ok while shooting with my buddy but bloody hard work when alone, you will have found a big diference in report with the moderator ,especialy on your 243 ,it was a friend that showed me his 243 with and without the T-8 and it had to be heard to be beleived ,that made my mind up for me got one fitted to the remi ,all the best luck on the lamping
  22. just thought the same as bigadg ,what length is the barrel must be one hell of a length as the t-8 slides down the barrel ,The moderator definitely makes a difference ,you can spot your shot's as well as reducing the report
  23. How do you clean the barrel remi with th t-8 on / nice set up by the way ,what is the rifle, the scope obviously a nightforce
  24. well i just give it the ocasional spray inside with gun oil and let it stand , i have noticed though that after a while there is fouling that builds up inside and it rattles about inside the moderator ,but after a few shakes it all seemes to be removed
