these families are very serious people, they are not to be taken lightly, you may believe they are all mouth but youd be very WRONG ,and as you can see theres lots of them at the ready ..on both sides ..if it does kick off ,there will be mayhem...but lets hope they come to some arrangement and calm the fuk down lol

i had barrells for years ,during the winter of 2009,minus 12 ,i filled the barrells with straw and the dogs were roasting in them ,the only draw back was cleaning them ,i had to crawl in at times to get the things swept clean, but their as warm as hell,i paid 60 quid for each of mine ,but compared to a conventional dog box their half the price of a well made ply box

that was back before 2009,and back in the early 90's ..taking 20 from the places we went was a drop in the ocean ,and the 50 +bags were because the ditches they were in were being knocked and cleared ,we did this for 15 -20 years ,regular bags ,and never tried to take more than was necessary, but at times travelling for 2 -4 hrs for a day out you wouldnt be heading back with 6 or a dozen ,we could have gotten that close to home ...I believe its not over hunting thats done the rabbit numbers ,theyve just faded everywhere i used to travel to,hopefully things will change ,as im older now,id be hap

Point me in their direction, I can't find fuk all lol... I travelled 3 days last week, found a small pocket of rabbits on rough ground, all my old spots are barren

tbh ray,ive had 2 incidents with sonic and sheep, and hes fairly steady with sheep, bit I WOULDNT TRUST HIM any more after hes done it once, the first time he did it he was 7 years old ,and i was disgusted he did it ,im still working on the pups with stock ,but i dont get out often enough ,i need to drive 48 miles to reach my mates farm and sheep,...if you run the goats with dogs ,then id be the first to say its not fair on the dogs trying to keep em steady with sheep, deer are another matter,i could always have them steady to the sheep after deer were taken, but goats are too similar in my mind ,

Same here, I used to lamp and bag 30 plus most nights... Ferreting alone or with one mate we always stopped at 20 or so as no more were needed, on a farm clear out we hit mid 50's two days on the trot... Them days are long gone... I packed it in after the winters of 2009/10as the numbers were decimated, let's hope the situation improves in the future .

that jill ,believe it or not spends 2 hrs every evening in the daughters bedroom..Playing and messing about ...shes a pure pet but bred from a line of real good workers,Im hoping to get her covered by my mates snipped hob when she comes in ,and get her out of season without having a litter,i couldnt be having a second i dont think when ive no work for one ...but we will see...

I had a mindset of the good old days, wander out and get an easy dozen for the freezer, let's hope I can find a few spots soon
-
ive gotten myself a ferret last summer ,a jill ,and due to work commitments i didnt have time to get her working ,but as i lost my job at x mass i thought id get some rabbiting done ,so last week i spent three days one after another checking the old places i used to hunt and to my dismay, there wasnt a rabbit on almost all of the places i knew, one spot still has a few but its overgrown with ferns and furz and not possible to work,i didnt do my homework, I have been talking to farmers and they say their land is devoid of rabbits ,..one farmer told me when the river froze over a few years b

for the first time i saw it yesterday,he dealt with a goat and did it quick enough (for a dog with feck all teeth)..,but boy it took it out of him,i wont be doing any more with him.i was in a field with the wife,2 pups at 3 months old and sonic for a bit of exercise,we walked half way down the field a hare got up,two turns from sonic, the hare jinked ,sonic stormed in ,and the hare took a turn and left the poor f****r trailing behind,he is passed it as youd imagine for a 12 year old dog..sorry i never got a decent bitch for him,...as an out and out hare dog ,he isnt the king ,but as an all roun
