i dont like knocking another mans sport but to me thats just pointless,whats he trying to do? prove a point? ya cant stop it raining. lol, that is possibly the main reason im walking for nothing,but saying that my spots wouldnt be the best anyway,any runs are hard earned,I read of 3 out of 3 and 5 out of 5 and think jaysus im a lost cause lol

thats very interesting thoughts mhopton,most of my places i try not to over hunt if possible,id say usually once a month max we'd walk the land,and yes on one or 2 spots we'd have certain ''favourite'' fields,proven in the past to hold the big bunnies,on 2 of the days I was on new land that I hadnt walked ever before but the lads into the harriers would hunt regularly I supose so that could be your answer.I am going to keep your points in mind next time and see if theres a difference,food for thought as they say.thanks for that

yeah 1st x deerhound bitch,if it keeps going the way it has been ,i'll be looking to rehome 1 or 2 i think .had a few nights on the lamp(1st time in years) and my biggest bag to date has been 3..........3 ffs.oh good god.and it isnt due to the dog cause shes shit hot on the lamp,well clued in,just the ground squelches like hell and they hear us coming from 1000 yards.

lol,i was thinking the exact same.I had great expectations for this season as had a few days booked in with lads that had better ground than me.one town was submerged in 3 ft of water for a month,so that plan got''washed'' away. ive had more blankety blanks than les dawson lol

was out Saturday,Sunday yesterday afternoon and, this morn,and boy am I failing miserably.I was out with the lurchers hoping for a run on the big rabbits on Saturday,we went to 2 different spots and on the 2cd place we found 2 to chase,5 hrs walking and 2 speedsters,The bitch got one turn into it and it just went straight into the woods,30 seconds all over,next one was a better prospect,300 yards from a woodland block,slipped the dog and to be truthfull he looked sadly lacking,just 20 yards before the trees he came to terms with the big bunny and both dissapeared over the bank into the tree
