looks like a hen has had a late brood maybe lost her first clutch.

try starving her for a day or so then take her out with some food in your pocket like some black pudding feed her a little every time she come back and she will if hungry also at the same time praising her. dont hit her if she wont come but walk the other way until she does then praise her.its only a little problem now and can be nipped in the bud.give her a few weeks on the lead then try again if she continues.

i think it would be more sporting if they used the traditional mode of transport the horse or camel for following the chase as the seem to head of the animal with the 4x4 to much.

once had a billy years ago and this is a true story.... this billy was given to me by an old fellow that found his roaming to much. at the time i had an allotment down a country lane that was well used as a short cut by the public. billy goats are well known for pissing on themselves and stink worst than a shed full of skunks. he used to break out of the field with ease then run up to a passerby and rub his stinky head down them. people got sick of going home stinking and one day the old bill came to my front door stinking to high heavan with the goat on a length or rope saying it had attacked

lurcher type dog.

i would just get thje dog doing the basics like walking to heel sitting and staying on command, later on as well as introducing hand and whistles signals give a very small amount of retrieving and not introducing it to any game till its 100 % right and steady in company of other dogs and stock. if its bred right the breeding will do the rest.if you get the pup wildly hunting early on it will spell trouble trying to get steady than not seeing any game till its obedient.

i dont think just because plummer lamped foxes with his slip ons on , and wrote a few books that he did any harm to the field sports game quite the reverse really. now he,s dead i cant see why people get all hot and bothered by the name.he didnt beat and starve his dogs or ill treat out not like some of the idiots that have come in and out of our sport over the years. the one,s that make the video nasties that fall into the wrong hands.fair play to anyone that puts a roof over his head and lives his life without harming others.and to all those that have his books that slag him of ... then sell

dont batter him it will make neither of you feel any better. sounds like he,s hanging round with the wrong crowd. all i can suggest is to try and get him a decent partime job and hope he finds a nice girlfriend before he getts deeper in the shit.try taking him fishing or football or spending some time with him... good luck.

a woman came to our house last night with a box with a duck in it, i looked in and said it was dead but she didnt believe me so i took her round the corner to our vets. in the surgery the vet looked in at the duck and pronounced it dead then said the consultation was 20 quid. she started argueing saying it was alive so the vet took a cat out of a cage in the back and put it next to the duck. the cat sniffed the duck all over then walked away and the vet said there it must be dead. she still argued so he let a labrador into the surgury and that put its feet up on the bench and gave the duck a
