  1. Pictures e-mailed to interested parties.
  2. Have a young Beagle bitch for sale. Lemon and white, 14 weeks old, out of 2 good working dogs. PM for more information. Thanks Tassa
  3. Nottzhunter, thats a fine animal you have. What htts is he?
  4. Sooty 92, what you say is very true. But surely there has to be someone out there who at the time was lucky enough to have got a pup of this man and decided after a few years that the dog was a good un therefore taking a litter of pups out of a good bitch and kept this line going. Thought it was very interesting that he was dead against putting any bull into the breeding.
  5. Yeah, there was a good article on Frank Buck in EDRD and the work he done with his terriers and pack of hounds. Incredible some of the stories of the control he had over his hounds and some of the memorable hunts he had.
  6. See a lot of lads with terriers in their kennels that have descended from big names either directly or through their own breeding over the years. The most popular is Nuttalls/Park/Stevens/Wheeler & Gould. Frank Buck bred dogs are rarely mentioned. Are there many lads keeping this line and what is their thoughts on the breed? Thanks Tassa
  7. Seems like a lot of terriers that won their classes or came second and third were WORKING terriers. Great to see and long may it continue.
  8. HEPHER TALKS A LOT OF SENSE. Fair play to all the genuine terrier lads that work their dogs the way they should be worked and give their quarry the respect they deserve.
  9. Cracking pair of pups their TT. Hope they make the grade for ya
  10. Nice looking cut of a terrier you have their atuddy. Atb with him.
  11. Pup i bred out of my old russell for next year. Hes 5 months now and as mad as a hatter. Hopefully he makes it as a descent wee dog.
  12. LURCHERS ALL THE WAY, guns are dead on for game birds but more and more rifles have mean't less and less foxes for the lurchers and terriers. Heard of men shooting big numbers at night, makes me sick. Your'e either a DOGGY MAN OR MARKSMAN. Can't be both.
  13. If you take a pup on and watch him get older and grow mentally you know when he is mature enough to start work. Some dogs and breeds need more time to start than others. I have a Fell i got as a pup and at a year old he was as immature as anything and took a bit of time but now hes flying. I reckon in around a year old a terrier should start to watch some action and get a rag and then take it step by step
  14. Young Bailey, hoping he makes the grade next year. Hes 3 months in this picture
  15. Fairgame, did you see the news or papers, do you classify what was uncovered as terrierwork cuz i for one don't. Neil is absolutely right in what he has said and as for 'you or me could go out in the morning and it could come on top'. Wtf does that mean? Im not surprised all this has cropped its head as year by year more of the wrong people are getting involved in terrierwork and they have f**k all respect for the land owners ground and livestock. No respect for quarry, dogs, burrows and what they do in general. They give bad manners and think its all rosy but now take a look, the whole thin
  16. Another good result TT. You've shifted a lot of muck this season lad
  17. Father and mother are two black fell type terriers. The father was 7 years old and is a very hard grafter and the bitch is just over 4 years and is also doing her stuff well.
  18. A young hopefull at ten weeks old.
  19. Hope they turn out to be two dingers for you TT.
  20. Yeah Gizmo, thats the fell i was telling you about last week. As for the name its not mean't to sound racist. In eire Packie is just a shortened down name for patrick.
  21. As long as he does the business Dev lad i don't give a f**k. He mightn't look as bad when i get him shaved and tidied up.
