    Truth of the matter is it's crap... take a long good look at it, it's all WRONG.... SJ (art critic) fair comment if i was into tracing pictures i would of mirrored it and that was done in a couple of hour not months that could be spent,art is in the eye of the beholder Smashy Don’t get disheartened by the negative comment, it’s a nice piece of work carried out very quickly. A flash photo doesn’t always do a painting justice anyway. As to needing more experience sure we would all give up if we thought we couldn’t get any better. Keep posting the images. L

    Thanks Might try that, I just want to keep the rain out and keep it from getting any bigger. I had a look on the web and some people were suggesting putting the coat inside a pillow case then inside the tumble drier for 20 mins to heat it before rewaxing. Eamonn

    Yes, The sketch of the pup was done for the owner. If you click on the Donkey I have some details on my profile page. I charge for a sketch and 150 for a painting. Eamonn

    Thanks Will its a barbour - The barbour care bit talks about a booklet which I dont have because I bought it off ebay. Ill sew it and get some wax to melt on. The rip will let the rain in otherwise. Pity barbour care didnt warn me to throw it over the fence before trying to get over. Eamonn

    very nice i like oils myself stated out doing water colours and couldnt quite get the hang of them not the easiest ut very nice picture Watercolour is a superb medium but not the easiest to control - I run evening classes over here teaching watercolour. Might be a bit far Eamonn

    I once got a Bedlington whippet from a guy, he had no phone and I had to make arrangements with via his mother who he phoned occasionally – anyway when I got there he was nowhere to be seen so I looked around found the litter, picked a pup and left a note and the money. He rang me to wish me well and said he had planned to give me a luck penny. Pity I didn’t wait, as the dog broke out one night and got hit by a car before I got a chance to hunt with it. I’m considering of ordering a pup off Mike Brown next year. Did you pay a deposit I think he asks for £10 to hold over a pup? Has
