In reality I can understand Hephers views,the working wheaten SHOULD be held in high esteem and not passed on to less experienced dog men for i can safetly say from experience they are a liability if they kick off(I learnt the hard way),they are also a super canine which is why more and more wheaten lurchers are evolving.Hepher,first point here,I dont have a reputation,nor do I want one.I just keep a few dogs and enjoy the sport that comes with them, if/when I take a wheaten I want it to be of the highest standard and exactly what i want,I dont want to be kicking sods later saying I wish I had

Right,I'll put you straight on a few things here,first I am looking for a bitch because its almost all bitches I keep.Ive kept bull terriers for the last 23 years,how many litters did I breed in that time?I'll tell you,1 litter of which 2 became very decent dogs and the rest doing ok with good dog lads.,that was in 2004,the time when bull terriers were at their height of popularity,a great oppertunity for me to make easy money if I so wished,I DIDNT PARTAKE IN JUMPING ON THE BAND WAGON.I had proper bred wheaten up to 4 weeks ago but he didnt make the standard we looked for in the breed,what

Im on the lookout for a wheaten terrier pup,not a X bred but from 2 wheatens,I am in no hurry to get one and will wait for the right one to come along.I am looking for a bitch pup so if anyone knows of a litter from good parents I would appreciate a tip off.Thanks.

I have just taken in a 1st cross deerhound/greyhound bred by Shanehound.im in the process of getting him fit and ready for serious action.I gave him a run on a hare yesterday morning and for a dog that wasnt fit he gave puss a fine run.I have high hopes for him.I have a night arranged with Shanehound for a few rabbits and looking forward to it.Another night is on the cards with Roan for bigger game.I was more than surprised with his take off speed.The hare reached the forestry after a good hard run with the dog on its arse,as soon as I find my flippin camera I'll stick up a few pics.I know the

Did one only today,the more ive done the easier they get,i have a freezer full of venison and its a great bartering toool when your looking for this and that from mates,I will be scoffing plenty myself for the next few weeks

Its not the worst iv seen martin...... just keep it clean she will hold it up till it comes right and it will mend back like new just dont give her a walk for a few weeks and as i said keep it squeeky clean....... Then when its all mended up after a few months and you want to run her a bit dip her paws into metholated spirits and it will harden the pads up All the best Terrier man -
