How to import Smoot haired Fox Terrier from UK ?
killemall replied to Foxterrier's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
There very hard to get right but when you do there nutters and dont stop ,Id say it would nearly be easyier to get one off the hunters in norway then to get one in the uk we can get them here in ireland but they have alot of show blood in them but some of the show dogs tend to even work........... Goodluck anyway.. Terrier man -
Mighty looking bitch ideal for the cover best of luck geting her to a good home!.....

top looking kennels if ye dont mind if i ask how much did that all set you back ferretess? Terrier man
-
Thanks lads got an extra bit of space now 20ft so its 4 kennels id say and its ready for cement! Terrier ma

just check your concrete mix TM..............that seem a bit strong!!! try and use 3/4" limestone chippings (with dust) and cement at approx 4-1. if you use chippings with dust you won't need any sand and you'll finish up with a stronger floor. why only 3 years?????...........perhaps if you used blocks it could be converted into somthing else in the future?? cheeers sean 1 cubic metre equals i.25 ton approx of sand 8 old bags 100 weight per metre is a good mix for light concrete work In english mark? Well lads and lassies im building new kennels iv got a space of 16ft width and 6ft long so i thought id break it down into 3 blocks of 5.3ft width and 6 ft long or maybe into 4 blocks the width would be 4ft and length the same 6ft.. there will just be a built in bench... It will be made out of wood as it keeps the heat better and it will be only be there for at most 3 years or would i be better off with blocks? Right down to the nity grity it will have a concerete base half a foot deep so i reckon 10 bags of cement and a 1 ton of gravel should cover it!?? will have an intergrated drain

ya well iv seen the letter that the department send out to the farmers just says we will be traping badgers on this land on "date" and will hope to have your coperation on it or some bla bla bla its a load of bo***x ! And the reason the farmers dont want the department near there land is because it will only cause trouble finding things dumped and spots where plastic from silage bails ect have bein burnt Terrier man

the difference is a bullx has a hard bite ( as in the breeding) a collie also does not have a bite as hard as a bull , now you are going to come back with a crap comment like 'well let my dog bite you and you tell me it's not hard' which is the sort of comment i would expect . face it , if you dont want to handle fox get a bull'x , BUT i do believe the collie MAY have a higher catch rate but will never take as much gip. No wouldnt let me dog bite you I dont know were youv'e been, and if my dog tried that with livestock I know were the bullet would go. I appoligise I had know ide

Same down our way the last two years corkonian I think it was a 90% cull and they mapped every sett they culled so this year they have started to cull the deer all in the name of T.B. IF this dose not clear up the T.B. will they start culling rabbits next I know they have to keep this T.B.under control but it is a shame to see all this game just been killed there has to be a better way, if anyone other than the government was cough doing this they would get life in jail Ya lads same down this way fellas killing them by the skip load and weather there reactors or non tb holders they

just because its a going rate doesnt mean you have to go with it sure why not sell em cheaper and get them proper working homes as a border should get! Terrier man
